Micah and I are getting on well, and like he said he would, he's been fucking me good. But although we're amicable, I still need to talk to him because I want to clear up any thoughts that he may have about Corey and I.
I know he heard some of what I what said, but what he walked in on me saying was Corey and I were never like this. He never made me feel how Micah makes me feel.
Scribbling, I think I'm in love with you in the notepad, I think about how I should tell him, while I wonder how he will react. I still need to find out what's going on between him and Paige because I don't want to get hurt confessing my feelings to him.
I still don't know if Paige is genuine. Riot and Sevyne agreed it's weird how she came looking for us. Honestly, I don't know anyone who would do what she did. Not even, Katherine Lauler, and she's a saint to the core.
"We're here!" Sevyne announces.
We're out getting groceries again; this is the second trip this week because the men that we're living with won't stop eating.
I tuck my notebook away and follow the women out of the car. On our way through the small high street, a little boutique across from Paige's bakery catches my eye. Wanting to check out what's inside it, I tell Riot and Sevyne that I will meet them inside the supermarket then I dash across the quiet street.

The boutique is small, but the setup makes it seem bigger. The style is eccentric with mannequins dressed in sequence dresses and tuxedos. The details of the sequencing are fine and elegantly done. I've never seen anything like it before.
Stepping back, I check out each dress. None of the top designers that I know would ever think to pair green and purple with frills and sequences, but this designer makes it work. Taking a closer look, there are no flaws in the stitching or seaming, and I can tell a lot of effort was put into making the detailing right.
Impressed, I continue looking around the store and come across a large wooden stand with glass shelves. It's showcasing an array of bags and accessories. Next to it is a clear floating tree that's displaying a selection of scarfs. When I walk over to it, I run my fingers down the forest green one. The colour reminds me of Micah's eyes.
"Can I help you with something." A curvy woman asks coming through the door that's behind the counter.
When she recognizes me, and like any start truck fan, she starts screaming hysterically.
"Oh my god! It's you! Your Beth! The famous supermodel. The rumours are true. What are you doing here--in my store?!"
After I chuckle at her babbling, I lift the scarf then say, "how much is this one?"
Flattening down the hysteria, she moves towards me. "I'm so sorry, they're not priced yet, I just put them out. I'll get it checked at the register for you."
She looks younger than I think. Renee, on her name badge is the same as the one on the sign outside, so I ask, "are these your designs?"
She smiles widely and I see how proud she is. "Yes, do you like them? I mean is there something that I can help you with?"
I'm about to mention the scarf again but a blinding glare interrupts us.
"Sorry. That happens when cars park in that space across the street."
"That must be annoying for you." I say thinking I couldn't put up with it.
"You have no idea! I tried talking to the bakery owner, but she's a mean cow! She knows that people aren't supposed to park there, but she does, and she allows others to do it too."
