Distorted Memories and Garden Conversations

*Bowser's POV*

I showed Luigi and Kamek the jar with the Wisps I found in Luigi's room. I caught them talking about getting Luigi to fall in love with me, and I asked for a huge explanation to what was going on. They reluctantly told me the true prophecy regarding my soulmate. I was so enraged at Kamek for lying to me all this time regarding who my soulmate was, that I trapped the Wisps into a jar and went to find Kamek and Luigi. And man was I glad to see they were chatting away in Kamek's little lab.

Kamek was trembling in fear. Luigi looked at a loss of words, seems like he was trying to conjure up a lie to trick me. "If you're going to lie to me, let me warn you against it. I don't like when people try to lie to my face." I puffed out some threatening smoke, showing I was being serious. It looked like Luigi had given up trying to trick me.

"Wait, why were you near my room? Did that have something to do with the crazy blushing at dinner? Were you coming to see me?~" Luigi pulled out a cocky grin. Oh that sexy bastard...two can play that game. "Well so what if I was? What? Were you looking forward to it?" I did a low chuckle. Luigi looked at me wide-eyed and blushing. Looks like I got Luigi blushing. I felt something fall out of my hand. Then the world went black.

*Narrator POV*

Nyx and Elektra had received a distress call in the astral space from Talassa, and they left Mario in the Fire Flower field with Peach and Toad, heading quickly to Bowser's airship castle. Elektra worked on formulating new memories for Bowser and Luigi while Nyx freed their wisp friends, erased the memories of after dinner for Luigi and Bowser, and set a sleep spell for them to wake the next morning with the fake memories Elektra made. Once Elektra introduced the fake memories into the sleeping soulmates, she turned to the magikoopa.

"They won't remember a thing about after they left the dining room, and I made sure to only include the parts of Bowser's actual memories he needed to not seem suspicious to the rest of the castle. Make sure Bowser and Luigi don't recover their memories. There is a chance the spell isn't permanent. So please keep an eye on them." Elektra told Kamek, serious. "Don't worry, I'll watch them." Kamek said, earning a smile from Elektra.

"Elektra, Bowser has been sent to bed and Avani and the others are dragging Luigi to his room. We need to go, now." Nyx motioned Elektra to a rift portal. "I have to go now. Here: so you can call us only if they do get their memories back. See ya!" Elektra gave Kamek a purple star with yellow stripes on it and waved goodbye. "See ya, girls..."

*The Next Morning*

*Luigi's POV*

That was the most pleasant sleep I've had in a while! And considering the fact that it was very close to my bedtime back home when I left, I'm shocked I wasn't tired at dinner! I looked for my Wisp friends using astral sight, but I couldn't find them. Weird. I decided to ignore it and went to freshen up in the bathroom. I checked the bathroom for the Wisps before taking off my clothes, again I couldn't find them. So I decided to take a shower since I felt a bit dirty...

That was a refreshing shower. I realized I didn't bring underwear with me when I went to the bathroom, so I wrapped the towel around my waist and went to see if there was any in the drawers. Luckily, no one was around and I managed to find some underwear. Just then I heard Bowser walk in, which made me jump and my towel fall.

I quickly grabbed the towel as fast as I could before Bowser could see anything. "Oh my, um. Sorry, I should've knocked. Ummm, I just wanted to let you know there's breakfast ready down in the dining room if you're hungry. I'll leave you to get dressed!" Bowser was blushing madly and wait, WAS HE SNEAKING GLANCES AT ME??? Oh well. He did slam the door as he left, though. So I quickly got dressed to avoid anyone else from walking in on me naked.
