*Bowser's POV*

"See ya... Bowsie." I heard Luigi's voice say. Did he just call me... Bowsie? Let's just say my tail didn't stop wagging whenever I thought about the nickname Luigi gave me. I swear if he was my soulmate I would've claimed him mine the moment I found out. But of course it isn't him, it's Peach. Why do I feel bitter about her now compared to before? I need to ask Kamek about this later today. Speaking of Kamek, where is he today? I haven't seen him since breakfast. What happened to him?

*Luigi's POV*

Did I seriously just call him Bowsie? He's a freaking KING, Luigi! Not your soulmate or anything close! I went to my room, hoping to find the Wisps. Speaking of which, I haven't seen the Wisps at all today! I hope they're alright. Hopefully, Kamek didn't catch them. Or Bowser if it's possible. And then I see Kamek talking to Avani and Shikha! "Kamek! I can explain why they're here, just let me-" "I know they've been helping you with your powers, Luigi. They told me that much. I was just asking them about a few things I wanted to know regarding your powers, that's all that's happening." Kamek interrupted me.

"Oh, and don't worry about my King finding out about them: I made them a safe space to talk and live inside your room without worrying about being heard. And I also won't tell anyone about them. From magic user to magic user." He adds, putting a fist in the air for a fist bump. "Okay." I said as I gave him a fist bump. "But what did you want to know about my powers? You could've asked me too, you know?" I was curious as to what powers he asked about.

"Did you know you can morph your body to look like anything or anyone?" Kamek asked me. "I know I can do it, I just don't know how." I replied. "Did you know you can freeze the floor with a stomp, or summon a stone wall from the floor as a shield, or a ring of fire to keep others away from you?" Kamek asked. I can do all of that?! "Um, no I didn't know those things." I said. "Luigi, if you let me train you, with the Wisps' help of course, you can defend yourself and even fight anyone! Your powers are infinite, except for you having to refill the energies, but still infinte! If you tap into your inner strength, you can prove yourself capable of surpassing any obstacles that you encounter!" Kamek looked excited to help.

I looked to the Wisps: they were anxious for me to say yes. "Sure, why not? They can teach how to summon my magic abilities, and you can teach me how to use them. We have a deal!" I said. "Yes!" Kamek was dancing and laughing at his little victory. "Ehem, very well then. Meet me in... 4 hours. Alright?" He cleared his throat, I can tell he was still excited. "Of course." I said with my newfound confidence. "Great! 4 hours, you know how to find me." Kamek said before leaving in a "poof!" "4 hours. Let's see what I can learn to do in 4 hours..."

*Bowser's POV*

Where. Is.. "KAMEK???" I yelled out for the Magikoopa. "Yes sire?" Kamek poofed in, a bit scared. "Finally! I was going crazy looking for you! Where were you even?" I was a bit enraged. "Forgive me sire, I was about to get a status report on the human with Peach. Permission to get the status report ready for you?" Kamek asked. Right, I forgot Mario was hanging out with Peach. "Go ahead. Make it quick." I growled. "Of course sire. Right away!" Kamek poofed away to get the report.

I wasn't used to waiting on reports, plus I was dying to ask him about how come Luigi isn't my soulmate. Sure, I had found a few boys cute before, and I slept with one or two behind Kamek's back. I mean, that's how Junior came to be anyways. But I always felt that my soulmate had to be a guy. When Kamek revealed to me that it was Peach, it felt... wrong. Just plain wrong. And I felt the strongest connection I've ever felt for anyone with Luigi. Then, Kamek came back.

"Ah, sorry for keeping you waiting so long! Our spies in the Kong Kingdom have reported seeing the human fighting the Kong prince, Donkey Kong, in their arena. And defeated him! One of the spies reported seeing the two fight quite awkwardly against each other. Almost as if they were soulmates, she said. But that's besides the point, it appears with the human's victory-" "Mario." I interrupted Kamek. "Forgive me sire, what was it?" He asked. "Mario. The human's name is Mario. Use it." I growled at Kamek.

"Of course, your rudeness. With Mario's victory over the Kong prince, Princess Peach has earned the Kong Army. They plan to use the Kongs' "secret" passageway to arrive at the Mushroom Kingdom before we do. What action would you like to take, sire?" Kamek finished. "Can I ask you about my soulmate?" I asked, hoping he'd tell me the truth. It just didn't feel right that Peach was my soulmate.

"You mean Peach?" Kamek asked. "No, Kamek. I meant my real soulmate. I know it's not her, but I'm not sure who it really is. Please, Kamek, could you tell me who it really is?" I hate begging, and hopefully he sees that I'm serious. "It appear I can't keep this hidden any longer." He sighed. What did he mean by that, though?

"You're right, it's not Peach. It's a guy, but I'm not sure who. All I know is that no one knows what soul core he is. You are the fated soulmate of the True Core, however. He was born 25 years ago, and his true core is bound to reveal itself in our land. He's from another world, much unlike our own. He's prophesied to meet you and have three astral beings ensure the two of you fall for each other. That's all I know. I have my suspicions that it might be Luigi, but I'm not certain of that being true. I haven't seen any astral beings of any kind near him at all. I've even checked his room: there's nothing." Kamek explained.

So Peach isn't my soulmate. I felt a wash of relief come over me, and my soulmate was a guy! I knew it! Kamek suspects Luigi is my soulmate, and I think he is. "Wait... But why didn't you tell me this before?" I asked. "I was worried about how the kingdom would react to your connection to the True Core Prophecy. I didn't let the prophecy out in fear of a negative reaction from your subjects to you, sire." Kamek looked ashamed.

"Thank you for telling me this, Kamek. I felt I was doing the wrong thing all this time. We'll wait for Peach and the Kong Army at the Mushroom Kingdom. I will give Peach back the Super Star, allow Luigi to see his brother, and hopefully he choses to come with me. That is, if he is really my soulmate." I said to Kamek. "Oh and, Kamek? Let the kingdom know about the prophecy. They deserve the truth, you know?" I told Kamek before he left. "Of course Son, I will." Kamek said, smiling at me.

"Now to find Luigi..."
