Voluntary

Amity voluntarily regresses when she gets too stressed out. She calls Luz, and they have a fun time together.

Also, they are not in a relationship when either of them are little.

It's been a hard day for Amity. Even though the sun was shining and it was the weekend, she was still not having a very sufficient day. She had been yelled at by another employee for accidently putting a book in the wrong place. Then when she was working on extra credit work outside of her study room, some stupid boys came over to her to try and "Rizz her up". She didn't know what it meant but she told them so many times to leave her alone and ended up accidentally outing herself as lesbian, to which they asked her so many dumb questions about, like "are you sure? You don't look lesbian," or "how do you know? Maybe you haven't met the right guy?". She was relieved when Malphas spotted them and stepped in and told the boys to stop or he'd kick them out.

She really started to crash down when an overbearing woman came in and started yelling at Amity for something that wasn't her fault. She was getting extremely stressed out and needed a break. More specifically, a Little break.

So when she got the chance, she snuck away from the public. After settling down in a pretty deserted corner, she took out her scroll and called Luz.

"Yello?" Luz picked up her phone.

"Hey, Luz. Umm could you… come to the library, please? I'm really stressed out and I..um.. I want to be little…" she fidgeted nervously as the last sentence came out. It felt so awkward to talk about little stuff while big.

"Of course, sweet potato. I'll be there in a few minutes. What area are you in?"

"Back corner. People were near my study w-room."

"Alrighty, I'll see you in a little bit, Bye," Luz hung up.

So Amity waited in the corner for her fearless champion to show up. It was pretty cold in that area so she was shivering. Not too long later Luz came across her. She was wearing her grudgby jacket, black leggings and a backpack.

"Hey, sweetie. How are you feeling?" She kneeled down to her.

"Small…"

"That's fine. How old?" She asked.

Amity rubbed her chin as she thought about it but eventually held up 4 fingers and then put down 1 but put it up again before shrugging, signaling how she didn't know.

"That's okay. We should move to your super awesome secret hideout. We'll be alone there," she held out a hand for Amity to take.

She and Amity walked with their hangs conjoined to the secret room. Luckily, no one was nearby to see them enter. When the door closed behind them, Amity jumped onto the beanbag while Luz searched for the little bag. Once she found it, she carried it over to Amity. She realized that she was shivering so she dug through a couple of blankets before finding Amity's baby blanket. She sniffed it and winced. Yup, it definitely needed a wash. But she could wash it later. Right now, comforting her Little was her priority.

The blanket had cute abomination baby designs with glow in the dark stars obviously sewn and scattered on it. The girl wrapped herself in the blanket once Luz gave it to her.

Luz sat next to Amity on the bag before picking the girl up and setting her down on her lap. She giggled happily when Luz began lightly tickling her.

"Alrighty, little one, I got some activities for us to do! We can watch cartoons, or draw, or read, or whatever you want!" Luz said happily. She'd gone through enough caregiving for Littles tips Tumblr pages that she was pretty confident with taking care of Amity.

"Hmmm cawtoons!" Amity decided. Luz took out her phone and put on some toddler based cartoons. Amity seemed very interested in them and asked questions about the characters. Sometimes, when a character would ask something to the audience, she would yell out her answer and then clap if she got it right.

"You're so smart, Mittens," Luz complimented Amity when she answered right.

"Fanks you, wuz!"

A little while later, Amity grew bored of the cartoons. She had skipped lunch and was a bit hungry but didn't want Luz to know because she may or may not have a pretty hard time eating normally in littlespace. Luz had only babysat or caregived Amity three times and they didn't eat of those times. Usually Ed and Em fed her because of how messy she could be. It would be really embarrassing having luz feed her. However, there was no hiding after her tummy let out a loud growl.

"Aw, is Ami hungry?" Luz asked and Amity gave her a shy nod.

"Don't worry, I brought some food!" Luz dug through her backpack before pulling out a container of food. She took out a small plastic jar of applesauce and a spoon.

"Can you feed yourself?" Luz asked.

"Of couwse, I can! 'M a big girl!" She grabbed the the applesauce and spoon. She scooped the snack into the spoon and brought it up to her mouth. Unfortunately, when she went to eat it, she missed and smeared it all over her chin and lip. She went to try again but couldn't do it and made another mess but this time, on her shirt.

"You're one messy kiddo!" Luz wiped her face with a napkin and took the applesauce from her.

"I think it's best if I feed you for now," Luz spilled the beans to Amity. She knew Amity had a hard time feeding herself from information by the twins.

Amity pouted but let Luz feed her. She didn't do the airplane or anything because she knew Amity would probably get mad and say how much of a big girl she was.

After they had a snack break, Amity wanted to draw. She wanted her paci too so she crawled over to her bag and plopped it in before lying down on her tummy and kicking her legs while she drew with her 120 pack of crayons. I guess you could say she was the coolest and most talented artist. Luz was sitting at the desk, drawing her own thing. She got interested in what Amity was drawing and turned towards her.

"Whatch'ya drawing there?" Amity quickly covered her paper with her arm.

"Is a supwise!" She answered. Luz backed away so she could continue. After a couple more minutes, Amity showed Luz the drawing. It was an Abomination with Luz and Amity on top of its shoulder in a sunny field.

"Aww, it's very good, Mittens! You did a great job! Can I keep it?" Amity nodded.

They went back to drawing for a bit until Amity felt herself grow up and become big again. She realized that her break ended soon and she needed to get back to work. She sat back up, wiped off the saliva on her paci and put it back in the bag.

"Hey, Luz, thank you for caring for me while small… I really appreciate but I have to get back to work." She started to clean up her area.

"Oh, that's alright. But are you sure that you'll be okay? I don't want you to involuntarily regress. You don't have to suppress it," Luz said.

"Don't worry, I'm not suppressing it, I slipped out of it. And if I want to regress later, I can always come over to your house or ask my siblings." She explained while putting everything back into the bag. They chatted a little bit while cleaning everything up.

Amity walked Luz to the entrance so they could say goodbye.

"Bye, sweet potato, I hope work gets better for you."

"Thanks, Luz. Since I am a minor, I get off at 3:00. I'll maybe visit you afterwards. Bye" she pecked her on the cheek before Luz began her walk home
