Summary: Amity gets kidnapped by people looking to blackmail Lilith. Amity is so scared that she regresses. Luckily Lilith saves her and helps her out.

Amity was walking out of hexside as classes just ended. She was excited as she would have her lessons with Lilith later. However, there seemed to be coven guards in front of the school. She tried to walk past them but they stepped into her path.

“You're Lilith Clawthorne's apprentice, right?” One of the guard's asked her.

“Y-yeah, is there something wrong?” Amity asked, fidgeting with her fingers. She was a bit nervous around the guards when Lilith wasn't around. It made her feel vulnerable.

“The Emperor has requested to see you, follow us,” The guard replied. 

Amity wasn't sure she should. Wouldn't Lilith bring her to see the Emperor if he requested for her? But then again, she's probably busy and just sent the guards. But why would the Emperor want to see her? That was strange.

“Why does he want to see me?” she asked. 

“He didn't exactly tell us, but I heard there was a very important position open that needs to be filled and he's asking for teen prodigies to perhaps fill it,” The guard explained. This piqued Amity's interest. Maybe if she was important within the castle, her mother would finally be proud of her!

“Uh, Alright,” Amity followed the two.

The guards had led her to the woods, claiming there was a shortcut. This made her a bit skeptical but focused on how amazed her mother would be if she got this position. Soon, they led her to a clearing with a big, prison carriage. She was confused for a moment and was about to ask what was going on, until one of the “guards” undid their illusion, revealing their criminal looks. She was about to scream for help, now that she realized she was set up, when the other guard came up from behind her and shoved a gag to her mouth and pulled back. Muffled cries came from Amity before she was knocked out and put into a carriage.

When Amity awoke again, she found herself in a prison cell in what seemed to be a cave or badly unfinished basement. She rubbed her eyes but found handcuffs attached to her wrists. She looked more and found one ankle was cuffed and chained to the wall. She tried to move but found herself to be extremely sore. Her wrists were covered in bruises, Likely from being dragged by the handcuffs.

She looked around more to get a gist of her surroundings. There was a small bucket in the corner of the cell which made her cringe. But it was the only thing there. Beyond the bars was a small hallway room. Her heart beat fast as she realized what was going on. 

She was kidnapped. The thought of that made her extremely distressed. She looked around again, trying to find Lilith, but she wasn't there. She more scared she got, the more anxiety bubbled up in her stomach and chest. Nausea overcame her and she threw up onto the cell floor. It didn't help and she was now crying. She was all alone in a dark cell without Lilith or any safety.

Lilith was in her cottage, tidying up the place. Amity's “room”, for the weekends she stayed over at, was very messy from the last time they were there. All of her little stuff was spilled onto the floor and the bed was unmade. 

But as Lilith was cleaning the room, a crow came flying in from the window. She wasn't expecting a call but picked it up anyways.

“Lilith Clawthorne speaking,” she answered.
