It was early morning from dawn when the Puja concluded. Kunti distributed the prasadam among the Royals.
"Take the prasadam, Putri" Kunti said to Panchali who was busy with her phone.
Panchali looked up to see the smiling face of Kunti, forwarding her to take the offering for God. She sighed, releasing a long breath.
"My apologize, Rajmata. But I can't take the prasadam. And I would suggest you not to try me the next time." Her stern words caught the attention of the people present there while Kunti gasped lightly.
The Pandavas also turned their heads towards her and frowned hearing her.
"Putri, why would you do that?" Kunti asked her further.
She gritted her teeth in frustration. Yes, she knew God existed... Krishna, himself is the proof to her being the Supreme God.
But she could never forget what God had gifted her in her so-called life and for that she would never ever accept any offering given to God.
Those beautifully not so beautiful memories still haunt her in the nights. And for that she could never forgive Gods.
God made her life miserably miserable, then why the hell would she accept the prasadam?
"Putri, you shouldn't speak like this. And why are you not accepting the prasadam ?" Gandhari said, coming towards her while taking the support of Bhanumati.
"Panchali -" Bhanumati was interrupted by her cold voice.
"Main apna nirnay suna chuki hoon. Ummeed hai aap sab mere iss nirnay ko sammaan karenge. Mujhe toh yaha, puja mein shaamil hone ki koi dilchasvi nhi thi. Phir bhi main aayi sirf Bhanumati ke liye." She spoke with no emotion in her voice, shocking the Royals about her decision of not accepting the offerings of God.
(I have announced my decision. I hope you all will respect my decision. I had no interest to join the Puja but still I did only for the sake of Bhanumati.)
"Excuse me! " Excusing herself, she went out of the puja hall without waiting for anyone's reply.
"What happened to Bhabi all of a sudden?" Dusshala's question ranged a bell in everyone's mind as they turned to a certain person for any kind of reasons.
"Do you know any specific reason behind Putri Panchali's weird behaviour, Saurashtra Kumar?" Bhism asked Aryan as everyone waited for an answer.
Aryan stiffened when he was asked the sudden question. He nervously glanced at their faces.
What would he answer to them? That their daughter-in-law had lost her faith in God long before? And what about the reason?
He needed to say something to cover up his best friend's deeds.
"Please don't worry, Mahamahim. Actually Panchali doesn't believe in God." Aryan said hurriedly, coming up with a stupid excuse like this and earning loud gasps in return.
"What? Panchali doesn't believe in God?" Kunti asked in return being shocked.
"Uh- no -umm actually you-you all know right that me and Panchali, we both are from Kaliyug and there in future some of the people don't believe in God and Panchali is just one of them. So, please don't bother about her much and I would suggest you all to go ahead with the present celebration as in Rajkumari Bhanumati's Godh Bharai." Aryan said, praying they would listen to him and believe whatever shit he spoke. Thankfully they did.
"Okay then, let's get going now. The preparations for the celebration should start right now. After a prahar (3 hours) when the auspicious time will start, the rituals are needed to be done." Dhritarashtr announced and went out with others following him.
