As two weeks passed down towards the wedding of Dusshasan and Nandini, things started to change.

While Hastinapur overjoyed about the wedding and the guests started to arrive, the Royal family got busied by the preparations.

The environment drowned into the vibrant colours of the upcoming wedding. With extreme enthusiasms, people were jubilant.

But as if in all these, something changed in Panchali too.

And with her behaviour, Arjun found it difficult to swallow the weight of the sudden change.

All he could recall was her words from the night of their union. Things started to change..!!

Earlier he had consulted with his brothers, and the same thing nagged in their mind too, as he could see it clearly in their eyes.

She would cut the conversation short and excuse herself for work. Whenever asked, she would refuse to accompany any of them for a quality time.

Neither did she attend stargazing with Sahdev, nor at a stroll in the garden with Nakul, nor a short outing with Arjun, nor had any late night conversations with Yudhisthir.

Well, let's not dwell about Bheem, who never got a glance from Panchali for three weeks.

However, as much as they scolded themselves to not think much after how Dusshala reacted to taunting Aryan on Navratri, still they couldn't help but overthink.

Surprisingly, the change happened just abruptly after Aryan arrived at Hastinapur four days back.

It was as if they shared nothing in those three months of blissful time.

As if their wife turned a completely another person, the one she used to be till the time Aryan remained in their Palace.

As Nakul pondered upon all of these, he didn't pay attention to his steps while carrying a jug of water.

He was about to enter her room, when Panchali opened it and the two bumped into each other.

The water spilled on the papers that she carried, as she gasped in shock.

"What the hell..!!" She cursed out, trying to wipe out the water droplets, moving back.

"I-I am sorry. I didn't see you coming." He apologized, stepping inside the room.

"It was the balanced sheets, right?" Aryan asked worriedly, as Nakul finally noticed his presence in her room.

"I am really sorry."

"WHAT SORRY?" She glared at him, as he flinched at her sudden shout.

"Will your apology make these papers alright?" She questioned, with a cold intensity of her eyes.

"Do you know how many days and nights I spent just to make these important account checks and values? Do you even know how it works? And you still think, your one sorry can replace my days of hard work?" She chided him, as Nakul gulped in guilt and hurt.

"Calm down, Panchu. It's okay, we can make another one." Aryan tried to intervene, but only got ignored.

"Oh, I really forgot that you can do nothing other than stupidity. While your brothers are there working for the kingdom, you are just relaxing and enjoying your life."

Panchali noticed him flinching ever so lightly, and a thin layer of tears glistened in his eyes.

"Grow up, Nakul. Try to be mature and stop bothering all the time like a brat." She spat the words and dashed out of the room.
