It had been seven days from the incident and a lot of things have changed between them.

Panchali rarely moves out of her room, and when she did, it was only out of responsibility.

She no longer spent time with them, nor did she initiate any conversation.

As if the cold Panchali returned with all her glory..!!

Nope, that didn't mean she made rude comments or hurt them in any way.

If any one of them questioned her, she would give just a reply. Nothing much.

She had meals with them at the dining hall after serving them, just like her routine but avoids all the conversation as much as possible.

Always being wrapped up in her work, she had numerous excuses to stay alone.

However, what remained a mystery to her as well as the Pandavas was a short loss of memory.

After that night's outburst, she remembered nothing till she got her consciousness back in the evening.

Kunti had been beside her after her fall from the staircase. As she witnessed Panchali's unconscious state, she broke down into tears.

With time, she realized something was off between her sons and daughter-in-law.

They weren't in their usual self like the past two months.

The lack of secret eye glances, the soft smiles, their time together, the night walks- as if everything vanished.

Kunti was their mother and nothing hid from her experienced eyes.

Whenever she caught their sights, she couldn't hold back the joyous smile from her face.

Such was the contentment to witness young love all over again..!!

Life had never been favourable to her sons since their birth, which itself took place in the middle of the forest.

From harsh weather conditions to lack of food and wandering days nonstop, to stumbling upon wild animals like snakes, wolves, foxes and once a lion too- they had seen the hardships of life.

Then, the untimely demise of her husband and co-wife- their father and Nakul-Sahdev's mother too.

After coming back to their real home, her sons soon felt it wasn't their 'home' to begin with.

With competitions and conspiracies, they felt the walls of the Palace of Hastinapur singing a silent symphony of plots and treacheries.

The prettiest of smiles held deepest secrets, under the facade of joy laid darkest ploys of murders.

Still, Kunti was proud of her sons because they didn't lose their patience and hope for life rather they faced everything that was thrown to them, only to come back victorious.

And for the first time, she noticed them to be genuinely happy while passing the days.

She observed her Yudhisthir, the one who was forced to grow up at a young age, now secretly smiling at himself while working.

Reason, you ask- his wife was sitting right beside him to help him out with his work.

Kunti once inquired to him about Panchali's knowledge. In return, she got a shy smile from Yudhisthir at first, which amused her beyond extent.

But she surely got her answer and related it well, because her daughter-in-law shared equal interest knowledge and potential in trade, economy, accounts, finance and management.
