Even though no one knew Athanasios' identity, they still mourned for him. They burnt a beautiful shroud, sea green and gold in colour. They mourned his death and kept the imprint on the grass as a special print.
Nico was exceptionally sad, yet determined. He knew Percy would never make promises he couldn't finish.
Even though Kronos had been defeated, End kept on sending his troops to destroy most of Earth before he came and take over. Everyone was devastated, their last hope was gone. Apollo had taken Athanasios' word for it, even he himself didn't know why. Apollo just felt indebted to him.
It had been two years, the monster attacks became more and more frequent. Nico still had hope but a little had diminished. Everyone was tired, they had been fighting monsters non-stop. Every week, there would at least be three attacks. The twin archers even came to help. Lady Artemis and her hunters stayed at Camp Half-Blood to assist the campers, while Apollo stayed with Nico.
What was new, was there's a new constellation in the sky, a month after Athanasios' death. The stars arranged themself into a mark of Xiphos. One look at it and everyone knew it was Athanasios.
Flashback
Nico was looking at the starry sky. Apollo saw him and jogged over, "Hey Nic, watcha lookin' at?"
"Apollo, did you notice a new constellation? It is the shape of Xiphos. Amazing how there's so much details," Nico said dreamily, staring at the sky.
"Wow! Didn't think he would go up there," said Apollo, looking at the sky.
"I'm sure he would come back. For now, I hope he is happy," Nico said.
"Nico, do you know him?" Apollo asked.
"Yes, but I swore I would never tell anyone," Nico replied, half-heartedly.
"They really shouldn't teach young people to swear on the Styx, just do the traditional pink promise," Apollo complained.
"Maybe," Nico chuckled.
Word spreads fast, not long after, everyone was looking at the sky, admiring the beautiful sword.

FanfictionBetrayed, angered, tortured... these words are perfect to describe Percy Jackson. No one trusts him, why should they? The gods merely used him as a pawn. I do not own any characters, they belong to our beloved Mr Rick. Rick Riordan.
