Nico had gone back to Olympus to assist his father, leaving Percy alone. That's when Hermes found Percy walking along the beach.
"Athanasios, I have a message to deliver. Lord Zeus wish to introduce you to Camp Half-Blood. You need to go to Olympus," Hermes stated.
"Alright, I'll be there," Athanasios replied. They both flashed to Olympus.
"Ah! Athanasios, I would like you to go to Camp Half-Blood. Perhaps you can teach them there. Mostly is I want you to keep an eye on the camp. Order's troop most likely would attack there. Hades son, Di Angelo would be there," Zeus said.
"Sure, am I allowed to kill if they angered me?" Athanasios asked.
"Erm... As you wish," Zeus reluctantly agreed.
"Even Jess Remord?" Athanasios asked.
"Well, Jess is currently still being punished by certain Olympians, mostly Hestia, Artemis, Apollo, Poseidon and Nico. There would be no need for that, I hope," Zeus answered. Athanasios nodded and the Olympians all flashed to Camp Half-Blood. Greeted by Chiron.
"My lords and ladies. To what do we owe the pleasure?" Chiron asked.
"We are here to announce something, please gather everyone into the Big House," Zeus said.
Chiron nodded and blew the conch horn. Within minutes, everyone piled into the Big House.
"As you know, Chaos' brother, Order would wreak havoc. We have a powerful ally to assist us. Athanasios," Zeus declared. Athanasios stepped forward and nodded his head slightly, he scanned through the crowd and saw some of his old friends. The h hunters were there too, Thalia included. His heart no longer felt sad or angry when he saw them, all was forgiven, maybe except Annabeth.
"How can we trust him?" Annabeth piped up.
"Daughter, I believe that is enough. We trust him," Athena answered for him.
"How good is he?" Leo asked.
"Good enough to defeat Artemis, Apollo and me," Hermes said. Everyone paled a bit.
"Have you been to the pit?" Piper asked.
"Yes," Athanasios replied.
"Have you maybe seen a Percy Jackson?" Thalia asked.
"Maybe. He's very different I guess. I saw a person with him," he pointed to Apollo, "they were covered in ichor and bruises and cuts. Of course I was only passing by," Athanasios said. Everyone was shocked at how Percy had been tortured.
"Is he alive?" Thalia continued to press.
"Barely, he was losing his sanity," he replied.
"Can you show us how powerful you are?" Jason asked.
"Of course, Jason Grace," Athanasios replied. Then, they all went to the arena, including the Olympians. They were eager to see what would happen. Athena as ref. Seven against one.
When the match started, Thalia tried summoning lightning to strike him down, only to be deflected by Xiphos. Jason willed the winds to boost him as he tried to land a blow, only to have him dodged it and got pinned by hunting knives. His weapons are beautiful yet deadly. Jason looked up and saw Xiphos held against his neck, "Do you yield?" Jason mumbled and walked out of the arena. Suddenly, Athanasios' hair stood up, he turned around just in time to block Annabeth's dagger.
He jumped up and took two arrows from his back, which included extra arrows in case he needed to shoot a few at a time, and he pulled back the string, making three arrows available. In mid-air, he shot the arrows, pinning Annabeth down. The campers admired his weapons. When he landed, he was met with Leo's fire and Piper's dagger. He used Piper and did a 360 to avoid Leo's fire and used his legs to kick him away, a powerful kick.
Piper was about to stab him in the gut when flipped her, turning the tables. Now, Xiphos was held against her neck as she mumbled yield. She and Leo were flashed out of the arena. Thalia jumped up and started firing arrows at him, so he used Xiphos to slice the arrows clean, then started his own streak. With the speed of lightning, he pinned Thalia down with his hunting knives. He used the hilt of a knife and knocked her out, then flashed her out. The remaining are Hazel, Frank and Annabeth. Athanasios did the most unpredictable thing, he sat down, closed his eys and meditated. The three used this chance and started to advanced towards him. He felt the vibration as they neared, when he felt their feet aligned, he quickly took out his katana and stabbed it onto the ground. Using it as and anchor, he did another 360, knocking the three of them down. He took his hunting knives, which had went back to his sides, to pin down Annabeth. He shot two arrows up into the sky and when they fell, they pinned Hazel, while he used Xiphos and held it at Frank's neck.
They all grumbled a quiet yield, then Athanasios sheathed his weapons. He picked up his Katana from the ground and stuck it back to his side. He took the remaining arrows and made them disappear. He had unlimited arrows of the same kind, so there's no reason to keep them. He put his hunting knives back onto his belt, and he twisted the side of his bow making it into a ring which appeared on his hand. Lastly, he capped Xiphos and put it in his pocket.
He ran and jumped, which seemed like flying but short distance. What awed the campers was how quietly he landed. When he ran, his cape flew up, showing his supply of arrows hung behind his back. Within seconds, he appeared at the door of the Hades Cabin.
He went in and flopped onto one of the beds, thinking that today might be the best day, he could show them all his skills he had learnt.
