It was already one month after they found out that they were pregnant, Carina was doing great and their baby was fine.
Today was halloween and Carina wasn't working so she decided to come help at the station.
She's been doing this every year since she met maya, but this time it was special.
Maya was already at work letting Carina sleep.
Carina woke up around ten, feeling ready to head to the station.
She took out her halloween costume, but after being past all of them she started sobbing because none of it would fit her.
She called Maya desperatly, when she answer the phone she was worried that something was wrong with the baby hearing Carina sobbing throught the phone.
"Hey, my love what's wrong ? Why are you crying ? Is the baby okay?"
"None of my costume are fitting me what am i suppose to wear?"she said her sobs coming down but still here"
"Oh my love don't cry for that, i anticipated that so i bought you a new costume it's in my locker at work. You just have to come here and then you can have it!"
"You know you're the best right" she said chuckling a little.
"I know, everybody told me that"she said laughing "I'm glad that you're okay and that the baby is too, you had me panicked for a bit."
"Yeah i know, i'm sorry i've got to get dressed if i want to come here thought, so i better keep moving.
I love you bella"
"I love you too, see you soon."
As she hang up she turned around to face with Andy up in the corner, arms around her waist looking at Maya.
"Hey captain... How long have you been here?" She said seeing that it was getting akward.
"I need to see you in my office right now "she said walking into her office Maya just behind.
"Close the door please"
"So why am i here, did i do something wrong?"
"I don't know, you tell me." she told her with a serious face on.
They stood there looking at each other for a good time before Andy break the silence.
"You really didn't have anything to tell me, you're sure ?" She said with a cheeky smile.
"No, i'm pretty sure captain, can you please tell me what did i do"
At this moment there where a knock on the door Vic coming in.
"We're on a middle of a pretty important conversation Hughes can it wait?"
"Yes sorry captain i didn't meant to... I'm heading out right now"she wanted to know what happened when she saw the seriousness on Maya's face but though it would be better to dig in later.
"So were where we, yeah so i did heard you say something earlier that quite upset me, still no idea?"
Maya was starting to panic, didn't know what she did wrong.
Andy decided to stop playing with her and just tell her.
"So i heard something about a baby, anything popped in your head?"
Suddendly Maya's cheeks we're turning red.
"Well...maybe...Carina's pregnant."
"Not too late Maya, i thought you were never gonna tell me. Congratulations bestie !!"she said clearly excited about it.
"Thanks" she said her face still blushed.
"How far is she ?"
"She's at two month now. Almost three, she's due on May 26th"
"There's just no way you kept that for two month, that's huge! Why was she calling you earlier?"
"She was panicking because she couldn't fit in her costume, even if her bump it's not that big she already can't wear some kind of clothes"she said laughing a bit.
