It was saturday, a typical morning you would say but it wasn't the case for Maya.
She was ready to hear all of the things that her brother wanted to say wich makes her anxious .
She thought that she will need to tell Carina about it but didn't know how.
So here she was at 7am, laying on her back, beside her very asleep wife, dealing with the wrecking thought that were messing with her head.
By 8 am she decided to go for a run.
Just as she was about to leave, Emma started crying. So she decided to finally use the gift from the station and she took her with herself.
It was a sunny morning, perfect day to meet at the parc wich made Maya even more anxious.
She decided to stop at the italian coffee shop to get some pastries and coffee to surprise Carina.
After an hour, she was back home.
Emma was fast asleep and seemed comfortable enough so she decided to not move her and headed in her bedroom to wake up Carina.
"Hi beautiful, it's almost 9am, it's time to wake up plus i brought pastries for breakfast" she said kissing her wife forehead as she was stirring awake.
"Ciao Bella, is Emma awake? I didn't heard her cry wich is weird" she said sitting up and kissing her wife soft lips.
"She was but now she's sleeping again. I wanted to go for a run but before i went she started crying so i took her with me, you did sleep good right ?!"
"I actually did and it feels so good i was up only two times during the night to feed her that's it" she said smiling a bit.
"Enough with the talk if you don't come out of bed i'm gonna eat all the pastries" she said leaving with a smirk.
"Don't you dare Maya Deluca-Bishop" she said getting up quickly and running after Maya.
She soon catches her and started tickling her side.
Carina loved hearing Maya laugh, she sounded like a child wich made her heart melt everytime.
Speaking of a child, a small cry was heard in the room making the two adults stop what they were doing.
"Well i think that there's a milk Monster that needs to be fed Mamma" Maya said jockingly.
Carina gave her a glare before going to take her baby.
"Hi bellina, did you sleep well? I bet you did" she said holding a fussy baby.
She let out a loud cry meaning that she was really hungry and probably angry because of the wait.
"That was an order for Mamma feed me and stop chatting" Maya said laughing at the interaction.
Carina gave her a death glare before going on the couch where Emma started latching and drinking eagerly.
"That's a hungry baby" she said laughing.
" Now will you please feed your hungry wife while she feed your hungry daughter?" she said staring at Maya who was eating many pastries.
"Coming right up to feed the little baby" she said laughing.
"Maya!!!" Carina said sighing, "Come on"
"I was just joking, i'm coming right up "she said making her way to the couch.
The rest of the morning had gone by pretty fast, it was already 1pm wich means that in an hour she was going to have a talk.
"Carina, i'm gonna go take a walk with Emma in the park, like you know, a mommy daughter date" she said thought you could see she was stressed and something was wrong.
"Ok bambina that's fine" she said until she sees Maya's eyebrows, they were frowned like never before wich mean that something was making her mind run.
"Maya, bambina before you go anywhere can you come here?"she said opening her arms to offer a hug.
"Yes, why's that ?"she said once she had put her head on her shoulder.
"What's going on, huh? I saw your eyebrows and you seemed stress earlier and still now, tell me" she said not letting go of her hug and slightly moving around the room.
"I'm meeting my brother in an hour to talk"she said, you could hear her voice cracking a little wich mean that she was about to cry.
" Hey, hey it's okay don't cry"
"I'm just scared, i don't know what to say, i'm...i'm...."
"Stop, it's okay you don't need to talk, just listen to me. You're strong and i love you if you need me i can come, okay?"
"Thank you but i'm fine, i need to do this on my own, well with Emma but that doesn't count" she said chuckling as she looks in Carina's eyes.
"I'm proud of you bella" she said wiping a tear that fell of Maya's eyes.
"Now go" she said giving a soft pat on her butt.
After a short they arrive at the park where Mason was sitting not too far away on a bench.
"Hey Maya, right here" he said waving his hand.
"We can do this Emma we're strong"
"Hey how are you?"he said as Maya was approching the table and sat down.
"Yeah i'm, i'm fine i guess, you?"she said embarassed.
"I'm feeling good, i'm gonna go straight to the point, i know i hurted you in every possible way, i know i was a bad brother, i also know that you are a wonderful person who found a great family, and i also know that i'm really sorry and if you're willing to give me another chance, i would be happy to take it" he said not breathing all the time.
"I think i forgive you, i know it's not entirely your fault and since you made the first step, i'm willing to give you an other chance"
"What do you say if i told you that we start all over again and forget all that happened before?"she said looking sincerely in his eyes.
"I think that's a yea for me" he said smiling brightly.
"Can i see her ?"
"I mean yeah, do you want to hold her maybe?"she said feeling more confident.
"Yeah i would love to" he said while Maya was giving her Emma.
"That's one tiny baby you've got there, she definitly got your genes" he said laughing at her.
Maya gives him a death glare before she bursted out, laughing like she never did before.
They continued to talk all afternoon, all and nothing everything was great,it was all good.
