Are you ok Carina?
Those words were said before Carina was taken to the hospital.
An hour before, the drama...
"No again?"it's been the third time this week when is this gonna stop ?"she said while slowly taking her hand while she was throwing up.
It has been 3 weeks since Maya had seen her brother and Emma was turning two month old on this day but it wasn't gonna be a good one cause Carina was sick for the third time in a row this week.
"I don't know Maya" she said before leaning to throw up again.
"It's gonna be ok" Maya said.
After she was done throwing up, she was sent to bed by Maya who told her to relax.
"Drink this love" she said.
"My throat is too sore i can't"
"You'll have to or you will be dihydrated" she said but was cut by a crying baby who had just woken up from her morning nap.
"Promise me you'll try while i'm going to check on Emma?"she asked.
"I'll try but i'm not sure it will go down"
"I'll make you some soup since it's almost 12 am, in the mean time just try and rest, ok ?!"she said, leaving the room to find a fussy little girl.
"Hello my tiny, 2 month old little chicken"she said picking her up.
Emma suddenly ate her finger wich made Maya laugh thought she wouldn't be if she had teeth.
"That's a hungry baby i see, let's go drink some milk"she said going to the couch after heating up a bottle.
Carina was in no shape to breastfeed and even thought it was Emma's favorite she would have to do with that today.
About fifteen minutes later Emma had drink half of a bottle when she heard Carina throwing up, so she had to finish with Emma before going to check on her.
"Babe are you ok, do you need help, or can it wait until Emma finishes her bottle ?"she shouted throught the apartment.
"I'm fine for now, sorry" she said before leaning in to throw up again.
"It's okay, we'll be done in about twenty minutes" she said, feeding her the rest of the bottle.
After about fifteen minutes she went to burp Emma.
Five minutes later she let out a little burp wich made Maya proud.
"Good job chicken" she praised her.
Just when she was about to check on Carina with a wide awake Emma in her arms, she heard a loud commotion coming from the bathroom.
"Carina, you ok ?!"
She couldn't run with Emma in her arms but she walked as fast as she could after earning no answer from Carina.
She enters the bathroom as fear shows up in her eyes.
She quickly pulled her phone, deciding that calling Ben would be faster than 911.
Ben
"Hey, Maya is everything ok?"
"Ben i need you to come with an aid car Carina seemed to have fainted, she's unconscious but breathing, hurry up please" she said her cries filling the phone.
"I'll be here in less than five Mai"
Emma started crying sensing there was something wrong.
"Hey, Mamma's fine baby girl she's gonna be okay, don't cry" she said soothing the baby while holding onto Carina's hand.
