"So your mom's imaginary friend" Bella demands as she drives us to the Black residence where I will be waiting outside while she visits her friend "is real, she was the one who killed Uncle Paul and can't come out unless it's in the dark?"

"Yeah" muttering as I look out the window "I think...what did your friend mean by you already know?"

"I think it has to do with their legends" she tells me "though Billy he might have something to say about ghosts—I remember Jacob once mentioning that" nodding my head zoning her out.

When we reach a one story red house with a ramp, Bella parks her truck and we leave to go up to the door. Looking around I see two barns and a lot of land. "Bella" I see a man in a wheel chair with tan skin, long black hair and brown eyes look at us "Violet? Daniel's daughter?"

"What do you know about ghosts?" I blurt out as I stare at him "Bella says your son told her about ghosts"

He stares at me "Come in" he says despite Bella already stormed in "ghosts" he tells me "in our legends are based off how real the person is and the imprint it left on the earth"

"Like if someone died a gruesome death?" I ask, he nods his head. Bella storms out "Sorry" I go after her and we see four more shirtless guys, only one has a six pack and is worth looking at. The others barley have any muscles and six packs, only two are curious while the other two are angry. They all have short black hair tan skin and tattoos on their upper right arm.

"What did you do?" Bella demands before shoving at one of them "What did you do? What did you do?"

"Hey!" Me and the others get between them

"Watch it" the guy Bella shoved says "Easy" he tells the others.

"Bella" she ignores me so I get between them "Bella! What's going on?"

"He didn't want this!" She yells ignoring me, I can see stubbornness runs in the family.

"What did we do?" Looking over at that one guy who has a six pack and muscles, I mean the others could try to work out more like more pushups or sit ups "What did he do? What did he tell you?"

"Both of you calm down" that guy orders

"Bella!" I scream in her ear, she pulls away looking at me covering her ear "might be easier if we I don't know? Talk like rational people?"

"No!" She snaps "I'm done with rational! He doesn't tell me anything since he's scared of them!" They start to laugh and we stare at them.

Bella punches the guy and another whistles "Now she's done it"

"Done what?" I ask as one of them motions "you girls need to go! Paul! Calm down!" Only Bella walks backwards while the idiot I am stay frozen.

We hear threes snarls and growls from him before my eyes widen seeing a large silver wolf appear. Oh my god. The wolf since I was closest swipes its paw, I cover my face and I scream feeling this intense burning pain in my side.

"Call a doctor!" I hear someone yell as more growls are heard, someone holds me pressing down on my wound as I see faces. Everything becomes blurry as I am succumbed to darkness.

I'm looking around the graveyard that I'm apparently in. It's dark outside with clouds in the sky, these large dead trees are all around as heavy fog is on the ground. Walking around I find a gravestone with my name on it along with my whole family.

Turning around, I see that figure behind me. All of a sudden she grabs my throat and cuts off my air "I'll get you Violet—soon it will just be me and Sophie!"

I gasp awake, my eyes blinking as I look around the white room I'm in. A beeping is heard and I look over to see my arm is hooked up to an IV, one of those heart monitor beeping things and I'm in a hospital bed.

Hissing from a burning sting, I grab my side. I then remembered what happened and I look to see Uncle Charlie come in with Rebecca and some guy "Uncle Charlie!" I exclaim "it was one of the wolves Bella saw"

"What?" He asks

"The wolves" I remind him as he stares at me "one of them was by your friend Billy's house
and attacked"

"It wasn't a bobcat?" He asks. Shaking my head no "Okay...I'll get going to get that beast" he soon leaves but not before saying "I'm glad your awake"

Looking at Rebecca who looks at me "Never" she pulls me to her and I hug her "do that to me again—I came here immediately when I heard, mom and Martin wanted to come but mom wasn't mentally stable and Martin had school and me taking him would have looked bad"

"I don't like La Push" I tell her

Shaking her head "Why were you down there?"

"My cousin" I then remember Bella "is Bella dead?" Please tell me she's dead.

Shaking her head no "No she's alright, you've been unconscious for a couple days" pushing hair behind my ear "I have to leave soon, my flight—I wish I could stay longer"

"Me too" nodding my head "at least I'll have an awesome scar"

Nodding her head smiling "I'll let mom and Martin know your awake"
