Nineteen

When Felix and I get to the police station, Martin is with us. We're all going out to eat dinner at Cora's Cafe. Martin heads inside to use the bathroom as Bella and Edward arrive. Bella sees the fried chicken "You do know we're eating out right?"

I get defensive "This is a snack, is there a problem with me having a snack?" Felix holds me back from attacking Bella since she's the new conduit for Valak. Apparently if she dies dies then Valak goes back to hell, but she's going to be turned so for eternity she will have Valak in her mind that she'll be fighting with. She'll have a form of schizophrenia according to Ed, we won't notice but overtime it'll happen. She might need to be killed because she'll be insane.

"No" Edward shakes his head "there isn't"

I go to take my bra off and Felix stops me "Why" he asks "are you taking your bra off right now?"

"Cause I'd really uncomfortable" I tell him "which is odd since it's one of my favorite bras"
I don't add how my boobs are about to spill out.

Once my bra is off, I sigh relieved and look at it "Maybe it shrunk in the washing machine?" I mutter to myself, putting the bra in my backpack everyone looks at me "what?"

We are silent again before Bella looks to Edward "I know you know what she saw, tell me"

"It was nothing" shaking his head "just plans for the wedding Alice wants to throw Felix and Violet"

"Yeah" Felix crossed his arms "about that, I called the wives and that little seer might be executed just for trying to take over being a wedding planner"

"I don't even know her" snapping at them "she's your best friend not mine, as far as I'm concerned she can be burned to death"

"So Alice's worried face?" Bella asks "your worried face? It's nothing? Cause it didn't look like nothing"

"It was nothing" he assures her "don't worry about it"

She sighs looking inside "I wonder what's wrong"

"Those are the Biers" I tell her, she stares at me not knowing. She probably doesn't even care "their son went missing a year ago and Uncle Charlie has been looking for him but after that long he's most likely dead"

"Do you know something about this?" Bella asks Edward

"We've been tracking the situation in Seattle for a while now" Edward tells her "unexplained disappearances, killings. We're surprised you haven't intervened" looking at Felix

"I'm here because the kings want you to know" Felix says "that your going to clean up the mess in Seattle, we aren't and you cannot ask for any outside help—Jane and Alec are in Romania while Demetri is coming back to Forks to help keep an eye on you Cullens"

The door opens and out comes Uncle Charlie and Martin "I'll fax these down first thing" Uncle Charlie assures them.

"Thank you" Mr. Biers leaves

"Hey" Bella says to him as Martin comes over to me and Felix, Martin isn't a big fan of Bella.

"Ready for dinner?" I ask Martin

He nods his head "How's school?" Felix asks

"We have this field day thing coming up" he tells us "can you help me make a blue and purple tie die t shirt?" We nod our heads.

"Bella" Edward tells Bella "my parents wanted me to remind you about the airline ticket they got you"

"Round trip ticket" Bella explains "to see mom in Florida"

"That was generous" he says

"They expire soon" Edward continues "you may want to use them like this weekend"

"I can't just" shaking her head "give up everything and go" I snort at that, everyone looks at me.

"Bella over a month ago you gave up everything to go to Italy" I remind her

"She's right" Uncle Charlie says "why don't you three head down to Cora's and we'll catch up?" nodding our heads we go to the car and Felix drives.

"V?" Martin asks

"Yeah?" Looking to him

"Are you pregnant?" He asks

I let out a laugh "No" shaking my head "why would you think that?"

"You've been eating a lot fried chicken every day with Nutella or honey mustard" have I? I guess I have.

"Then why did Becca" he asks "say your pregnant?"

Rolling my eyes "She's just mad because Felix and I on our wedding night did something stupid in her opinion"

"What was it?"

"Adult stuff" we both answer

"I'm not pregnant" I assure him, I see Felix look constipated for some reason.

~Time Skip~

"Why are we at a church?" I ask Felix since he drove me here in the middle of the night. Dinner was quiet since Bella was upset when Uncle Charlie told her that if Edward came down to Florida that he'd put the bars back up on the windows and also a baby monitor. Martin told him that, that one night he found out Edward snuck through his window instead. Uncle Charlie is still so angry about that, he even called up the Cullens and said that if Edward does it again he's filing a restraining order on him.

"To see something" he says as we enter the church to see Father Burke here with Sister Irene.

"What's going on?" I ask

"Your pregnant" he tells me, I'm sorry? What? "I can hear the heartbeat" Again, what? "I want to make sure the baby isn't Valak or that other demon"

"Fine" I go over "but I don't think I'm pregnant"

"Mi amor" Felix grabs my hand and with his thumb does this thing that I always love. It's this caressing thing where his thumb goes in circles right on my thumb or where my thumb is connected to my hand "When Martin asked I listened and I heard it" my shirt is lifted up and Father Burke and Sister Irene are doin some weird stuff like chanting or something that's close to a prayer "I called them and they were more than happy to make sure this baby is safe. It made sense—your chicken craving, your breasts swelling, why your more tired and sexually active" that is true, on the way to school we fucked in the car since I was very horny.

Sister Irene gasps waking up before smiling "The child is safe" we look at her "no demon at all" nodding my head smiling as I look down at my flat belly "the baby is shall grow as a human then be immortal when it turns twenty four"

"Why twenty four?" We ask

Shaking her head "I do not know"
