Fifteen

I drink some tea that Jane hands me, supposed to help keep me calm. It has been some hours and I'm in one of Felix's shirts but I haven't had anyone touch me since the graveyard which was some hours ago. Carlisle was even brought over to check my wound on my leg, I didn't let him touch me either. But in order to do that, we had to go to Forks where I tried to sleep but it was hard. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw it.

"Bella" the Cullens are all here too and Bella just got here with Edward "do you know why your cousin won't talk?"

"That's like asking me why the sky is blue" she comments earning a snarl from my mate. She shakes her head "I don't know—why is she so shaken up?"

"She saw a nun"

"Out of everything" Bella asks in disbelief "she's afraid of a nun?"

I look at her angry "It's not just some nun" I hiss out. They look at me "it's evil, from Hell itself. If you thought Diana was terrible she is nothing compared to this creature" no one says a word "what Diana did was child's play compared to what this thing does, if you think your precious Edward" mocking him and his inability to do shit "can save you. He can't—only Diana could keep it away" I go back to drinking my tea.

She stares at me then to Carlisle "Carlisle?"

I scream jumping into Felix's arms when there is a knock on the door, I cry in his arms and he rubs my side trying to calm me down. "It's a priest, a nun and some man and woman" Edward tells them.

We see in comes Father Burke, Sister Irene and the Warrens. When they see everyone they begin to pray having Rosalie roll her eyes while that father begins to hit every vampire with holy water that burns their skin. "As much" Demetri says "as we love to be hit by" he hissed "what is that?"

"Holy water" Father Burke looks at me in Felix's arms and hits Felix but it doesn't burn him.

"Why didn't the water burn him?" Bella complains an she is hit and cries when her face begins to burn.

"Holy water" Father Burke says "only effects those with a damned soul"

"Your saying Felix's soul isn't damned?" Everyone—but the four that just came—asks in disbelief. Even Felix is shocked.

Father Burke ignores them staring at Felix before looking at me "Go to sleep child, it is alright"

~Felix's POV~

I watch as this father help my mate finally get some sleep, so I sit down with her in my arms. "Vampires" we look at the Warrens or the woman as she looks at all of us.

"In the name of the" the man puts a cross to Jane and it burns her having her scream "father"

"Hold up!" Carlisle exclaims and the man looks his way as Demetri and Alec get Jane away from him "What is going on?"

"It is a story" the nun tells us "one that begins eighteen years ago in a woman who just lost her husband to another unholy creature"

"Do we need popcorn?" Emmett asks "I feel like popcorn is needed"

"Emmett" someone scolded him

"Sophie Carter" Sister Irene tells us as the other three put up crosses and do other things "came to the church with her husband and daughter, that day she not only was baptized but also blessed by an angel"

"An angel?" Bella asks in disbelief "an actual angel? With wings?"

Sister Irene ignores her which the human doesn't like "That angel blessed her and her husband's child that grew in her womb" waving to my mate. I'm sorry? What?

"Are you saying my mate" the others stop to look at me "what?"

"Mate?" The one human man asks

"Their soulmates" And they start to pray again. You know what? When their done with that, I'll pay attention but for now I pay attention to my mate.

"That child was blessed by an angel" their speaking again, we look at the man and woman since the father and nun are praying "when that child was born the angel visited again but this time to watch over her as she grew for an evil took control of the mother's mind"

"Young Violet was then sent to a school in Romania" the woman says "the same school where an evil lurked, one so malicious that it was given one purpose"

"What was the purpose?" I ask

"To bring her to the Devil" the man says "for the Devil wished to take a wife"

"I'm sorry" the mind reader scoffs "but this is all stupid, Bella is an angel while" the priest puts more holy water on him having him cry out in pain.

"Watch that mouth of yours demon" the priest hisses, looking at us "as Ed and Lorraine were saying, young Violet here when she entered St. Carta's for school the demon Valak sensed her presence. Through him the Devil made it his mission to corrupt the girl, have the girl remain pure only to be...defiled by him" I growl at that "we have watched over her since she left for the malicious evil that protected her mother also protected her from Valak, but now that it is gone that evil will stop at nothing to have Violet be brought to Satan"

"Even if that were true" pixie girl exclaims "I would see"

"You would not" the priest hissed "you see decisions people make vampire" sneering her "Sister Irene and Mrs. Lorraine Warren have true visions for they were blessed"

"Why" I ask "didn't your holy water hurt me?"

"Soulmates" Ed says "are a sacred relationship that our Heavenly Father blesses, if the Lord blesses the Union between the two" motioning to me and Violet "then Valak will do more to destroy you"

"How do we keep this evil from coming back?" I ask as their eyes widen along with everyone, that uneasy feeling I had is back.

"Oh my god" the human cries holding onto the mind reader.

My mate gasps and looks behind me before getting up, I hate seeing her in fear so I look at my eyes connect with that nun or demon from the graveyard. I put my body before Violet's as the thing roars and I snarl at it. It's not having my mate.

The humans step forward and hold crosses out praying loudly, the thing screams at them before looking at me saying in Latin sinisterly "Her mind, body and soul will be his" it disappears then and I hold my mate to me.
