Twenty Seven

"I wish mom were here" I cry to Rebecca as she hugs me.

"I know" she nods her head, pulling away I hug Martin next "soon you'll be up there too buddy"

"Congratulations" Brett congratulates me or us, one of the two "Violet and Felix on both this and the baby"

"Thank you" we both say

"Are you going to the graduation party with Bella?" Martin asks

"No" shaking our heads

"Yes" Alice comes over "she is" we look over at her annoyed "this is your last chance your with all your friends together, being fun before the baby comes" everyone looks our way.

"Did you really" Rebecca demands "just tell an entire town that my sister is pregnant?"

"Excuse" Felix looks at us "my cousin and I, we need to have a chat" he grabs her arm as Demetri follows them after congratulating me.

"Violet?" Uncle Charlie asks "are you really pregnant?"

Nodding my head "Felix and I wanted to wait to tell people" aka never, looking at Bella "I don't like Alice"

"She didn't mean"

"If she didn't mean any harm" Brett says "she wouldn't have just blurted it out, this is your cousin's news not hers"

Bella gets defensive "She's just excited about the baby"

"Bells honey, their right" Uncle Charlie sides with us "this baby news is your cousin's news to share, not your friends even though Alice is distantly related she isn't the one pregnant"

"Hey" we see Angela, Mike, Lauren, Tyler, Eric and Angela come over "we heard" Mike says "congratulations" my friends hug me.

"Thanks"

"How far are you?" Angela asks

"Over a month" nodding my head "wanted to wait till in the second trimester since the first as you know I could have a miscarriage more easily"

"We understand" Lauren says "and I hope your husband beats Alice's ass for that stunt she just pulled"

"Why?" Bella asks, we look her way "Alice didn't mean any harm, she just wanted Violet to come to the graduation party"

"By yelling" Jessica asks "the news for everyone to hear? She deserves her ass kicked Bella, I mean I know gossip but I know when to say it and sharing news that isn't yours like a pregnancy before the person is ready to tell people isn't something you go and share"

Bella shakes her head "You just don't get Alice"

"We get her perfectly well" Rebecca says "she is rude, pushy, disrespectful, crosses multiple lines all the time"

"And your a bitch" Bella argues and Rebecca slaps her across the face.

"I may be a bitch" Rebecca gets in her face having Bella stumble backwards "but at least I know to respect people, you 'friend'" air quoting friend "doesn't. She just wants to get her own way all of the time"

"Do you guys" I ask looking at my friends "want to go out for dinner? Felix and I were going to skip the party, maybe we could all be at Cora's one last time for a celebratory dinner?"

Nodding their heads "Sounds like fun" Eric says

"What about Alice?" Bella asks "she has this party planned"

"Bella" Charlie pulls her aside as Felix comes back over.

"How are you feeling?" Felix asks me

Nodding my head smiling as I'm in Felix's embrace "much better with you here now"

~Cora's Cafe~

"Okay so Rebecca" Lauren asks "what was Violet like growing up?" We're at Cora's laughing as we finished our dinner, the party at the Cullens started an hour ago and people didn't really show up. Instead they came here to Cora's Cafe to hang out with their friends. Even though people are curious about the Cullens house they'd rather spend time together with their friends, plus there is this huge bonfire on La Push and we're going to that later. La Push and Forks graduates. Plus Alice's party doesn't have alcohol so people are upset about that. Demetri and Felix are also coming, I made it clear to the elders and wolves that unless they want me to bring our more evil their coming with.

"Violet had her rebellious times" Rebecca says "I remember that one phase where she refused to wear clothes"

"How old was she" Felix asks "when this happened?" Oh god, covering my face as it turned red.

"You won't like the answer" I tell him lowly

"She was like thirteen, no fourteen" Rebecca tells them "when this happened. Yeah took our stepdad maybe five weeks of convincing Violet before she decided to go to this nudist colony making him and our mom worried sick. Only I went because our mom and stepdad didn't want to get naked"

"You lived in a nudist colony?" Demetri asks smiling at me and Felix.

"For a time" nodding my head

"What about in California?" Tyler asks "was she more loose or what?"

Rebecca tilts her head "Violet had her moments of being both loose and uptight, but mostly she's what kept people together. The glue or foundation of a house—but I've got to ask since you all know her but is it just me or is her relationship with Edward Cullen just...unhealthy"

"It is" they confirm

"Didn't she" Lauren asks me "I heard she would only see her mom in Florida some time ago if Edward came with"

"It's true" I confirm "there was a companion ticket"

"Why not bring her dad?" Brett asks "I thought they were on good terms from what Rebecca said, her parents?"

"They are" nodding my head "they just bicker and joke around"

"And Edward ending things in the woods and Bella getting back together like it was nothing?" Mike asks "no offense since he's your cousin but how stupid is Bella? I mean it was unhealthy how she reacted, why not see a therapist or anything?" And just like that we spend the next couple hours bitching about Bella and Edward before we go down to La Push for the bonfire.
