Harry spun around and asked, "It's odd, isn't it?"
"No, not at all," Terrance quickly replied. He smiled at her and said, "In fact, you look quite beautiful."
"Thank you," Harry replied blushing.
She quickly glanced at Kahil. He looked at her with a very displeased expression. Harry didn't know what to make of his expression.
"Now that we're all set, let's head on out to the training grounds," Terrance said excitedly. He took Harry's hand and pulled her along with him.
"O-okay," she hesitantly replied.
She glanced back at Kahil. He was still looking at her with the same disgusted look. She quickly turned her head back as soon as she saw it. She didn't understand why he suddenly started acting like that, but she did regret looking back.
"Come on! Come on!" Terrance shouted. His loud voice made Harry's ears ring.
Once they made it to the center of the field, Terrance let go of her hand and turned to her. Harry's head was spinning while her ears were still ringing. Terrance noticed this and apologized to her, "I'm sorry, Ha-"
"Ha?" She asked.
"I mean, Princess."
Harry wondered why he was being so formal to her but not Kahil.
"Shall we get started?" he asked.
Harry smiled and nodded, "Yes, but I must tell you that I've never done this sort of thing before."
Terrance laughed, "That's fine; I'll teach you everything you need to know." He gave her a very reassuring smile and said softly, "So don't worry, alright?"
Harry blushed and awkwardly agreed. After that, Terrance began teaching her the basics of swordsmanship while Kahil supervised.
"Do you get it?" Terrance asked her.
"Yes, I think so," Harry answered.
"Do you feel like you're able to spar?"
"Eh? No-I!" Harry quickly shook her head. "I don't think that I'm ready for such a thing yet."
Terrance stared at her silently for a moment before saying, "Hmm . . . alright then, Princess, you'll need to maintain a good distance from us."
"Huh?" Harry asked confused.
She then noticed Kahil walking over to them. Harry started to back up from Terrance slowly; when he saw her confusion, he added, "It's because your brother and I are going to spar now, and for safety reasons, we're having you maintain a safe distance from us."
"Okay," Harry responded.
After Harry reached a safe distance, they assumed their stances. Terrance smirked at Kahil. "You ready?" he asked. Kahil smiled back, pulled out his sword, and pointed it at Terrance. "I thought you'd never ask."
Harry watched as the two of them swung their swords at each other. Kahil lunged forward and swung right at Terrance's face. Terrance lifted his sword to guard against it.
"Heh, I see you're full of energy today," Terrance said. He hit Kahil's sword so fiercely that his sword and arm swung to the right. Kahil barely had time to guard against Terrance's attack.
"You are too," he retorted.
"Well," Terrance said as he went for Kahil's neck. "I have to show off a little bit."
Kahil quickly dodged Terrance's sword.
"So going for my neck is a little?" he huffed. He put all of his strength into his legs and ran towards him. He aimed straight for Terrance's eyes. Terrance swung and clashed with Kahil's sword. The swords clanged together violently.
Harry started to become nervous as their fighting intensified. After many more hits, Kahil gained the advantage over Terrance and sent his sword flying across the field. Terrance looked over at his sword and then back at Kahil, who had his sword pointed at his face.
Terrance sighed and lifted his hands. "Okay, you win."
Kahil smiled and put his weapon back in the scabbard. "As usual."
Harry stood shocked and amazed. She spoke quietly, "Wow, the crown prince is really strong, isn't he?"
"But of course," answered a boy.
She turned around to see a boy standing directly behind her. He looked nerdy and scrawny. He had the darkest hair and eyes.
"The crown prince is the strongest," he said as he looked Harry up and down with cold and judging eyes. "The question is, are you?"
