A couple weeks had passed by since Harry had started her lessons with Kahil, and so far, nothing had happened yet.

Harry was able to learn all of the moves in no time. The way Kahil was teaching her was clear, concise, and easy to understand. So far, he had proven to be a good teacher. It was a pity that he didn't have any good intentions while teaching her.

"Wow," he said astonished. "You are a genius."

Harry lowered her sword, laughed, and replied, "Thank you for the compliment, but I am not a genius."

Kahil shook his head and quickly reassured her that she was one. "Being a genius doesn't just mean that someone is incredibly smart, it also means that they are very gifted in a particular skill."

"Really?" Harry asked. She was still unconvinced that she was a genius or a prodigy.

"Yeah," Kahil answered. "For you, Harry, your genius comes from swords." He patted her shoulder and added, "You're a sword genius."

He hurried off towards the palace and loudly shouted to her, "See you same time tomorrow!"

"See-see you!" she shouted back.

The reason why he had to leave so soon was because he was finding it harder and harder to hide his resentment and disappointment for her perfect condition. He was upset that nothing had happened to her yet. However, three days later, Paula noticed that Harry's hands had started to become rough and crack open.

"Oh, Princess, I really think you should take a break from training," said a very concerned Paula.

Harry took Paula's hands and reassured her that she was fine. "I'm okay, Paula! I don't feel any pain at all! Besides, this is special training from His Highness! He is taking time out of his busy schedule to teach me personally."

"Yes," Paula agreed. "But everyone needs a break every now and then."

Harry smiled and enthusiastically responded, "I don't need a break; I'm perfectly fine!"

Paula continued to attempt to coax Harry into taking a rest for a couple of days, but it was all in vain. Paula eventually gave up on trying to persuade her. "At least let me put some ointment on your hands!" she pleaded.

Harry agreed, and Paula hurried to grab the medicine and return. She wanted to be fast, so Harry would have no time to change her mind.

She put the ointment on Harry's hands, and the next morning, she was back outside training with Kahil. Despite it being hardly noticeable, her movements were a little bit sluggish compared to before, but even if it was barely noticeable, Kahil certainly took notice of it.

"Are you okay?" he asked her; seemingly concerned for her well-being.

She examined her hands before answering. They were cracked even more and burned.

"Yes . . . my hands . . . are just a little bit rougher than before."

"Is that so?" he asked.

He seemed unfazed on the outside, but on the inside, he was thrilled. He believed she would now give up on being a swordsman and her true colors would finally be revealed. He believed it would happen at any second, but Harry tightly gripped her sword, smiled, and said giddily, "I'm okay; I can still practice! This won't hinder me a bit!"

At that moment, Kahil was too stunned to speak. He began to think that she wasn't acting.

"Let's continue," she said.

"Huh . . . okay . . . sure," he responded.

He didn't know that Harry had been secretly sneaking out at night to practice. It was tiring, but she improved quickly because of it. She continued this routine for so long that even Paula could start to notice something was amiss.

"Princess, are you okay?" she asked. She was very worried about her.

"I'm okay, Paula," she replied.

She thought that Paula was very kind and just a tad bit overprotective, but later that day, she was asked the very same thing by Cambrel.

"Yes," she answered. She chuckled and added, "Paula asked me the same thing earlier too!"

"Did she?"

"Yes!"

"Hmm . . . well, are you?"

She looked and smiled at him in confusion.

"Am I what?"

"Are you really alright?"

Harry quickly nodded and replied, "I'm okay; my hands are quickly healing thanks to the ointment from Paula!"

"Is that so?"

"Yeah!"

"In that case, would the princess like to go train with me and the other knights today?"

"Yes, I suppose that it's fine."

She spent the remainder of the day training with the royal knights. They were impressed by her skills, but even after training for hours, Harry still snuck out to train more. It didn't matter to her if she got hurt or sick. She wanted to make Kahil feel like he wasn't wasting his time on her. She would accomplish this; no matter what happened to her.
