Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson had been dating in secret for quite some time. They were both well aware of the challenges that came with being in a same-sex relationship, especially in the small town of hawkins. Despite the secrecy, their love for each other blossomed, and they found solace in the moments they shared together.

However, their happiness was shattered when a guy named Jason Carver started harassing and bullying Eddie. Jason was known for his cruel behavior, but it had never escalated beyond physical confrontations and hurtful insults. This time, though, Jason had crossed a dangerous line.

One fateful afternoon, Eddie found himself cornered by Jason and his Goons in a desolate alley. Fear gripped Eddie's heart as he braced himself for the inevitable confrontation. Jason's malicious grin sent shivers down Eddie's spine, but he refused to show weakness.

Without warning, Jason lunged at Eddie, his fists raining down on him with a ferocity that shocked even his stupid friends. Eddie fought back as best he could, but the odds were against him. Blow after blow landed on his body, leaving him battered and bruised he was sure he had broken something and he could taste the metallic taste of blood in his mouth.

With every ounce of strength he had left, Eddie managed to break free from Jason's grasp. Bloodied and disoriented, he stumbled through the darkened streets, desperate to find safety. His vision blurred, and his steps grew increasingly unsteady, but the one thought that pushed him forward was the image of Steve's comforting presence.

Finally, Eddie reached Steve's house, his body aching, and his breathing labored. He knocked weakly on the door, praying that Steve would be home. Panic consumed him as he wondered if he could hold on long enough for Steve to come to his aid.

When the door swung open, Steve's eyes widened in shock at the sight before him. Eddie's face was covered in cuts and bruises, his clothes torn and stained with blood. Without hesitation, Steve rushed to Eddie's side, guiding him into the house, his heart pounding with fear and anger.

Steve laid Eddie down gently on the living room couch, frantically searching for a first aid kit. He tried to stem the bleeding, his hands trembling with a mixture of terror and determination. Steve's mind raced, desperately thinking of what he could do to help the person he loved.

Time seemed to blur as Steve worked tirelessly to patch up Eddie's wounds. The room filled with the scent of antiseptic and the sound of Steve's shallow breaths. Tears streamed down his face, blending with the blood on Eddie's battered skin. Steve whispered words of encouragement, begging Eddie to hold on.

But as minutes turned into hours, Eddie's breathing grew shallower, and his eyelids fluttered weakly. Steve's heart shattered as he realized Eddie was slipping away, the life draining from his fragile body. He clung to Eddie's hand, his sobs echoing through the house shacking him and begging for him to wake up.

In that moment, Steve's world collapsed around him. He had lost the person who meant everything to him, the one who gave him hope and happiness in a world that often seemed cruel and unkind. The pain of losing Eddie was unbearable, and Steve found himself drowning in a sea of grief.

Days turned into weeks, and Steve struggled to find solace in the wake of Eddie's passing. His heart ached, and the weight of guilt pressed upon his shoulders. He blamed himself for not being able to protect Eddie, for not being able to save him from the torment of Jason Carver.

Deep down he knew it was not his fault but he can't help but blame himself for not doing something about it sooner. Of course the cops were called and Jason was arrested and he wouldn't have to see Jason's disgusting face ever again, it wouldn't bring back Eddie.
