Eddie and Steve had been bickering non-stop for months, despite there very obvious interest in each other. Their friends were tired of their endless arguments and wanted them to just resolve things already.
One day, the group planned to meet up at Steve's house. Eddie arrived first and waited uncomfortably alone for what seemed like forever. He finally received a message from Dustin: the others wouldn't show until Eddie and Steve made up.
Steve descended the stairs, and immediately their typical argument started. Eddie teased Steve as usual, partly out of irritation and partly because he enjoyed bickering with him.
Finally Steve snapped "Just shut up!" Eddie smirked and stepped closer, taunting "Then make me."
Before Eddie could react, Steve grabbed his arms and pushed him against the wall in a rush of adrenaline. Their eyes met, and Steve pressed his lips firmly against Eddie's.
Eddie was stunned motionless, mind reeling. Then he kissed back passionately, months of built-up tension pouring into the embrace. Steve pushed his body against Eddie's, probing deeper.
Eddie wound his hands in Steve's hair, eliciting a soft moan. His heart pounded as Steve trailed kisses along his neck.
"It took you guys long enough!" Dustin complained. Everyone smiled, knowing their bickering masked true feelings.
Breathless, Steve and Eddie finally broke apart. Eddie blushed. "We probably should've done that sooner."
Steve chuckled. "Yeah, probably." He cupped Eddie's cheek tenderly. "You really do talk too much."
Eddie grinned. "Then make me shut up." Steve kissed him again, gentle but profound. Their friends rolled their eyes.
