“Message”
Pagkababa sa bus ay dumeretso na ako sa apartment na tinutuloyan ko dito sa Aligrea. Kinuha ko ang cellphone ko nung mag vibrate iyon. There's a text message from Cyroux.
"The hell Reign! Isda lang nakauwi dito! Where are you?"
"Aligrea." After sending my reply I went straight to my apartment room only to be shocked and terrified.
Everything was a mess!
Nagkalat ang mga basag na gamit sa sahig. Mga papel na pinunit-punit. Ngunit ang mas ikinatakot ni Reign ay yung nakasulat sa dingding gamit ang pulang likido.
“Welcome home, Ali”
Hindi alam ni Reign kung ano ang mararamdaman niya. Nakakakilabot ang mga katagang nakasulat sa dingding. Alam niyang iba ang nais ipakahulogan niyon.
After a short while of being dumbfounded, he finally pull himself together. But before he can move his feet to get out of his room, his phone rang. The caller is unknown.
He was hesitant to answer it at first, but he was ruled by curiosity.
"Did you like my little surprise, Ali?" Said by the person on the other line.
"Who the hell are you!?" Reign couldn't stop himself from shouting.
Hindi makilala ni Reign ang boses nito dahil gumagamit ito ng voice modulator.
"Someone you know... Perhaps."
Reign stilled.
"Be careful, Ali. I advice you to think holistically in order for you to know me!"
"And also," The caller pause a second. "...be careful who you trust Reign Cardova!"
Narinig niyang tumawa pa ito hanggang sa patayin nito ang tawag.
Napatingin si Reign sa hawak na cellphone at sa nakasulat sa dingding.
I will surely catch you!
Reign thought.

"Have you finish it yet?"
"Tapos na Cap."
"Good. Huwag ka na munang bumalik dito." Huling sabi niya bago ibinaba ang tawag. It was his secretary.
Just when he was about to call his father, someone knocked.
"Come on in." Buntong hininga niya at ipinagpaliban muna ang pag tawag.
Pagkabukas sa pinto ay may pumasok na may katandaan ng babae.
"Maupo po kayo. Ano po bang sadya niyo, nay?" Tanong niya sa matanda.
"Aba'y may irereklamo ako!" Sagot nito.
Binalingan niya ito. "Sino po at bakit?"
