Spencer's P.O.V
It's been six months since the twins were born, and to be honest, I'm still getting used to fatherhood. Sometimes I've had thoughts about being able to live up to my expectations of being a father. The last thing I want is to disappoint them and not make the same mistake my father did when I was a kid, but thankfully, Liv and Mom have always had my back when I started doubting myself.
With the regular season right around the corner, I've been helping Liv out as much as she could because when the season starts, it'll be difficult to not be around my children, but Liv and I promised to work through this, and our parents had our backs for support.
When I got done with football practice, I walked into the house and I saw Liv in her rocking chair, cradling and breastfeeding Avante while Brianna was sitting down on the floor playing with Amiyah.
"Hey Liv, how are you?" I asked. "Hi baby, I'm doing good and glad that you're here, our kids missed you." Liv said.
"Hi, Daddy!" Brianna said to me while she had her baby sister in her lap. "Hey baby girl, how are you?" I said as I walked to her and Amiyah. "I'm fine. Happy to see you, Daddy."
"Me too." I sat next to Brianna and picked up Amiyah and cradled her.
"You know you all are my whole world?"
"Everyday Spencer. Forever and always." Liv said as I smiled at her thinking about the day she is officially going to be my wife.
"So what movie are we watching?"
"The Little Mermaid!" Brianna said and the twins giggled and clapped when the movie was playing.
After the movie was over, we see our little kids fast asleep. I carried the twins to the nursery and put them in their crib while Liv carried Brianna to her room.
"Hey Liv, do you know how much I love you?"
"Yes."
"Well, there's something I wanted to ask you for a while."
"We're already engaged and have a date set for the wedding." She said and winked at me.
I couldn't help but laugh. "I know, but what I wanted to ask you was, how would you feel about giving Brianna my last name, and I would officially be her legal guardian when we are married? She will still have your last name of course." (A/N: I don't know how the adoption process works, so I apologize if it sounds confusing.)
Liv stops for a moment, kisses me with passion, and wraps her arms around my neck. "Spencer. Nothing would make me happier than to make this official. And to be honest, it does have a nice ring to it."
"Great. I'll talk to Davis and he'll get a representative from social services to get the paperwork." I smiled and kissed her as we fell asleep in each other's arms.

Olivia's P.O.VThe next morning, I see Spencer sleeping peacefully, so I decided to make him a protein shake before he headed out to practice and also make breakfast for the kids.
A few minutes later, I see Spencer come down the stairs.
"Good morning beautiful." He wraps his arms behind me and kisses my neck.
"Spencer. You know I can't resist you when you kiss me there."
"My point exactly." He smiled.
"As much as I want you to keep doing that, I have to finish making the kid's breakfast. But I also made you a protein shake before you headed out to practice; it's in that bottle."
"Thank you, Liv."
"Of course. So I'm gonna go to the store in a little while, do you need anything?"
"Just some more fluids and veggies."
"You got it."
"Thanks, baby. I'll see you and the kids later on today." He kissed me and headed out to practice.
A few hours later....
I was walking around in the store buying groceries. Brianna was walking next to me while the twins were sitting in the shopping cart that I was pushing.
"Olivia." A woman from behind me tried to get my attention.
"Yes. Do I know you?"
"Oh. I'm sorry. My name is Lauren. I'm Spencer's-"
"Mommy look, they have oreos, can we please get them?" Brianna cut Lauren off as she looked at Brianna, Amiyah, and Avante.
"I'm sorry. Coming here was a mistake."
"Wait! Lauren! You said you were Spencer's what? How did you know him?"
"You have a beautiful family Olivia. Spencer is lucky to have you in his life. I'm happy for him." Lauren said and walked out of the store.
"Who were you talking to Mommy?" Brianna asked me.
"No one sweetie." I said to her; hoping I was right.
I didn't want to assume the worst of Spencer's past, but I needed to hear the truth from him before all hell breaks loose.

Spencer's P.O.VAfter I got done with practice, I couldn't wait to spend quality time with my family.
"Liv. I'm home." Still no response. "Is anyone hear?" I made my way upstairs and walked into the bedroom seeing Liv sitting down on the bed with her arms crossed.
"Hey, baby. Is everything okay? Where are the kids?"
"I took the kids to my Mom's house. I needed to talk to you."
"Okay. What's up?"
"I was at the store today buying groceries and I ran into this woman named Lauren and she asked me about you. When I asked her how she knew you, she freaked out and walked away from me. Spencer, I'm only going to ask you this one time and I expect you to be fully honest with me."
"Okay. Full honesty."
"Who is Lauren and how does she know you?" I asked him as he was speechless when I mentioned her name.

Hello everyone. Sorry for the late update. I've been busy and haven't had a chance to update as I normally would, but I'm back. Not really my best chapter, but wrote it the best I could. Spelivia both agree on wanting to include Spencer's last name with Brianna's full name. However, things seem to be in question for the couple right now, as another woman from Spencer's past has returned and Liv has no idea who Lauren is. Who do you think she is to Spencer? Please excuse any mistakes or grammar errors. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section.
