Spencer's P.O.V
Ten Years Later....
These past ten years have been nothing but amazing. I've never been this happy in my life. To see kids grow up and see where they are today, I couldn't be happier; especially when I get to witness this with the love of my life. Olivia has been the backbone of the family and I always want to be a not a great father but a better man for her every day. Our kids are blessed to have her as their mother, Liv would do anything for them.
Speaking of our kids, each of them has been on a journey of their own.
Let me start with our oldest daughter. Brianna has been determined to accomplish her goals. I always tell her to dream big because whatever she wants to accomplish in life, comes with hard work and dedication. Since she was a little girl, she has had a passion for dance. Brianna said she could see herself working in dance, maybe owning a dance studio one day and helping other young women who share the same passion as her. Ever since then, she has always been at the dance studio with Davita and Kia. If Brianna wants to be the best, she has to learn from the best. Luckily, it all paid off when she received a full scholarship to attend The Juilliard School in New York. She wanted to major in performing arts, so to be accepted to the top university in the nation with that major was a huge accomplishment. Brianna was great on the stage, but off it, we made sure she was on top of her academics. Yes, it was annoying to her at first, but when she realized that it wasn't easy to get accepted into a college like that, she was determined to set her priorities straight. When me and Liv saw our baby girl cross the stage, it was an emotional moment for us. I saw her as a little girl who would always cheer me up whenever things were difficult at times, she knew how to put a smile on my face. She changed my life and for her to call me Dad made me happy yet emotional. I would always be there for Brianna, but at first, I didn't know I was like a father to her. Then to have a special bond with her was amazing and I was thankful Liv let me give Brianna my last name. Me and Liv couldn't be happier for Brianna and we can't wait to see the accomplishments she makes in the next chapter of her life.
Now for our other baby girl, she is growing up maybe a little too fast and we tease each other that we want her to stay young. But there was something that caught her attention, basketball. One day, when Liv was in Vegas for a WNBA game representing one of the best players in the league, A'ja Wilson, Amiyah started to admire the way she played and told her mother she wanted to play in the WNBA when she got older. When Liv heard this, it was no surprise to her because sports have been in our blood. So she decided to reach out to A'ja and she has taught Amiyah the game of basketball and has continued to improve her game. We let her play AAU basketball and was one of the top players for her age group. Amiyah is about to enter middle school and has already gotten so much attention from high school, college, and even professional scouts. Social media nicknamed her baby A'ja because of how much she plays like A'ja. To be honest, it bothered us at first because as parents we want them to continue to have fun in life and enjoy their time being a kid. Now, we ignore it and continue to protect our baby girl because there will be people who try to bring her down, but not on our watches. Amiyah will be the last one laughing when we see her living out her dream of playing in the WNBA.
For my sons, what can I say? They wanted to play in the NFL. It was their dream. Most kids say they want to be an astronaut, a doctor, or a lawyer, but Avantae and SJ want to be like their Dad. I'll be there for my boys to help them accomplish their goals, but it ain't going to be easy. I told them that upfront, but they knew that from the jump. But I also took my nephew under my wing as well. When it comes to Lamar, I would be there for him. Ever since he was a little kid, it had always been he and his Mom. I want to be that father figure to Lamar, and I know Lauren and Corey would want that too. Family is everything to me, and to have Lauren and Lamar in my life, I couldn't be happier. Lamar had a cannon for an arm when playing football, so I had Jordan come in and help him from time to time. Avantae was shifty and could blow by people, so I had him play running back like his Grandpa Corey and Grandpa Billy. SJ was fast and had a knack for the ball. It's like a one-two punch when Lamar throws the ball to SJ every time because something big is going to come out of it. He remind me a lot of myself when I was playing football at his age. Liv was right, SJ is a lot like his Dad. This offensive trio is going to be amazing. I could only imagine how much attention they get when they start playing at a high school, college, and professional level.
Me, Liv, and Lauren can't wait to see what's in store for our kids in the future. They're going to make a name for themselves and we can see them being role models for other kids that will look up to them when they get older living out their dreams.

A lot has happened over the past ten years for Spelivia and their kids. Brianna received a full scholarship to The Juilliard School in New York and Spelivia couldn't be proud of their daughter. Amiyah has shown a strong interest in basketball and has drawn a lot of attention from a lot of scouts; she's going to be a star on the rise. Avante, Lamar, and SJ are all passionate about football and want to play in the NFL one day like Spencer and Jordan. Please excuse any mistakes or grammar errors.
