Olivia's P.O.V

Today was going to be a special day for Spencer as rumor has it that he was the favorite to win the "Male Athlete of the Year" award at the ESPYS. After all the accomplishments he's achieved in 5 years in the league, there was never a doubt as to why Spencer was able to be in this position, and I couldn't wait to be by his side when they announce his name. I know. I know. I may be overconfident in my man, but the facts speak for itself.

While I was showering, getting ready for tonight, I felt Spencer's arms around my waist and it caught me off guard a little bit.

"Spencer, what are you doing in here? We have to get ready for tonight." I said. "I wanted to be with you before we had to head out. And don't worry, we'll get there on time." He said and started kissing me on my neck.

"Mmm. Spencer don't kiss me there. You know I can't resist it."

"That's always my intention Liv." He continues kissing me on my soft spots and I finally gave in.

I was all dressed and ready to go.

"Liv? You almost ready?"

I see Liv making her way down the stairs and I was admired by her beauty with her hair back in curls, her beautiful brown eyes, and the black and white dress she wore with silver high heels. I'm falling in love with Liv every time I see her. Call me crazy, but it's like it was love at first sight.

"That lady walking down those stairs is going to be my wife. Just wait and see."

"Spencer? Spencer? You okay? You looked like you were out of it for a while"

"I'm sorry Liv. You look beautiful. I tell myself how lucky I am to have you in my life." She smiles and kisses me with passion.

"You ready?"

"Ready." We got in the Escalade and made our way to the ESPYS.

We arrived at the Microsoft Theater in downtown LA and saw all the famous athletes at the event as they would be honored for all the accomplishments they made during the season.

"Spencer James in the flesh." Jerry Rice says and walks towards me.

"Jerry Rice, it's an honor to meet you, sir." I tell him.

"Likewise, you've had an amazing career so far with the Rams. I've seen many young receivers before, but playing at the level of a player in the hall of fame and at a young age."

"I'm just very determined sir."

"Well keep putting numbers up like that and continue to lead your team to greatness year in and year out, you'll be in the discussions as of the best NFL players to play the game of football."

"Yes sir."

"And who is this lovely lady you have with Spencer."

"Jerry, this is my girlfriend, Olivia Baker. Olivia, this is Jerry Rice."

"Nice to meet you, Olivia. I've heard so much about you."

"Really?" Liv asked him.

"Of course, you're one of the top sports agents who know how to get deals done for their clients." I smiled at Liv as I couldn't help but admire her work speaking for itself. I wouldn't have been able to get the contact I deserved without her.

"Thank you, sir. That means a lot."

"Of course. It was nice meeting you two and I wish you Spencer the best of luck tonight, I heard you were nominated for two awards."

"Thank you." We said goodbye to Jerry Rice and made our way to our seats.

Olivia's P.O.V

A few hours later...

So far everything has been going our way, Spencer and the Rams won the award for "Best Team of the Year" award. One down, one to go. I see Jerry Rice making his way to the stage as it turned out he would be presenting the "Best Male Athlete of the Year" award. There were so many well-known athletes that were up for the award. Lebron James, Patrick Mahomes, Spencer James, and Cristiano Ronaldo were nominated for the award.

"And the Best Male Athlete of the Year award goes to...Spencer James." Jerry says.

I cheered and hugged him as I was so happy he won the award. Spencer made his way up to the stage to receive the award from Jerry Rice.

"Wow. This is amazing. First, I want to thank the Rams organization for taking a chance on a kid from South Crenshaw and seeing him as someone who loves to play the game of football. I want to thank my teammates and the fans. None of this would be possible without you. I want to say thank you to friends and family who are probably watching this, so shout out to you guys. And last not, but not least, I want to thank my girlfriend, Olivia Baker. Liv, thank you for your love and support. You continue to encourage me to do the best I can. Even when I'm down, you helped me pick myself up. We did it Liv. We did it." He walks off stage and I got a little emotional as he blew a kiss towards me and I mouthed at him saying I love you.

After the ESPYS were over, we made our way back home and celebrated for the rest of the night. I see Spencer outside and made my way towards him.

"Hey baby, what are you doing out here?"

"I'm just thinking." I wrap my arms around his neck.

"What are you thinking about?"

"Just how happy I am to be in this position. But also, looking at the future."

"Oh yeah, was I in it?"

"Of course. And speaking of future Liv. There's something I wanted to ask you."

"What's that?"

"Do you, Olivia Baker, want to move in with me? You and Brianna have made a huge difference in my life and I want you two to be a part of my life-" I cut him off and got excited that I jumped into his arms and he caught me while I wrapped my arms around his neck, my legs around his waist, and kissed him with passion.

"So is that a yes?" He asked rhetorically.

"Yes. Yes. A million times yes Spencer James. I'll move in with you. Brianna will love it too. She already considers you as a Dad. We're now like one big happy family." I smiled as we made our way to the bedroom making passionate love to each other for the rest of the night.

Spencer's hard work has been paying off lately, from getting paid as the highest-paid receiver in the NFL, to being named Best Male Athlete of the Year. Spelivia is now living together.
