Commander and Chief

With everything on quiet tune and the multi-dimensional wedding coming up, everything was as smooth as silk and everyone was taking it easy. Pure Jr. was on the road in Bullet, out on patrol as usual. He was in a crossroads with stoplights, waiting for his lights to become green.

Pure Jr.: How is everything going team?

Team Member: All clear and all quiet.

The lights turn green and Pure Jr. drove on his way

Team Member 2: How is your fiancé and son?

Pure Jr.: They are doing great, I'm just out here getting some relax time from the wedding.

Team Member: Fiance was ok with it?

Pure Jr.: Dad and fiancé recommended I take a patrol, it's bad if I'm stressed out.

Team Member: Good point.

A police cruiser was passing by and honked his horn and Pure Jr. honked back.

Pure Jr.: Once im done here, keep me posted.....

Pure Jr. saw a kid with a really heavy bag and his clothes didn't look right.

Pure Jr.: Got a kid here, something is off.

Team Member: How off?

Pure Jr.: Massive bag and slightly tattered clothes.

Team Member 2: That is off.

Pure Jr.: Intercepting.

Pure Jr. sounded his sirens and stopped in front of the kid.

Pure Jr. Hey kid, something wrong?

Kid: Nothing wrong officer, just a kid walking.

Pure Jr. looked at the time and date.

Pure Jr.: It's a school day right now and you're on the other side of town, going away from school.

Kid: I never had school to begin with.

Pure Jr.: Ok, now you got me interested kid.

Pure Jr. got out of Bullet and went down to the kid, he stooped down to be on his level, the kid looked to be eleven years old, light skin and a little dirty.

Pure Jr.: What happened that you are out here?

Kid: I got thrown out.

Pure: Who and why?

Kid: Who doesn't matter, as to why.

The kid had a buttoned up shirt, he unbuttoned it and there was a rune on his chest.

Pure Jr.: Did someone burn that into you?

Kid: No, it's my birth mark.

Pure Jr.: Why didn't we get any reports on this?

Kid: Because they keep calling me a demon child, I was barely cared for from when I was born.

Pure Jr.: Does that do anything?

Kid: Not that I know of.

Pure Jr.: And where were you going?

Kid: Somewhere safe.

Pure Jr.: How about I help you with that, you tell me everything, I help you with a new home.

Kid: You can do that?

Pure Jr.: I can.

Pure Jr reached out his hand, the kid looked at it, weighing his choices. The kid took his hand and they got into Bullet. Pure Jr. called for a portal to Santa Compana , it opened and Pure Jr. went through. He ended up on Santa Compana and was driving towards the shrine. Pure Jr. parked Bullet outside and got out with the child.
