Letting it all out

With all three dimensions secure, it was time to focus on the smaller things. One such was the wedding but that was a little while away. One other thing was Hiraeth, she hadn't signed the adoption papers as yet but she was almost there. Hiraeth was going along her probation beautifully and was getting in no trouble with her adoptive parents.

Hiraeth was passing through the village, eating a snack and she heard some heavy metal music using her cyborg hearing. She followed the sound and she found a house in a side of a hill. When she got close the music wasn't loud but Hiraeth could pick it up fine.

Hiraeth rang the doorbell and waited for a response. In a minute, Caelix came to the door with his shirt off but not his pants.

Caelix: Oh, hey Hiraeth.

Hiraeth: You live here?

Caelix: Yeah, since I'm a yeti, they built me a home where it fits the conditions of a yeti and using a cave cut down some space.

Hiraeth: And were you listening to heavy metal?

Caelix: Yeah, I listen to it while I do some architecht drawing

Hiraeth: You're an architecht?

Caelix: Yeah, I took a drawing class when I got here, I'm really good at it. Would you like to come in?

Hiraeth: Sure.

Hiraeth came inside and Caelix shut the door.

Hiraeth: -shivers- Is it always this cold?

Caelix: Let me adjust the temperature, they are sending me the cold air from the wind turbine installed at the power station.

Hiraeth: Didn't know they could do that.

Caelix: It's how yetis get cold air in the demi-human dimension.

Caelix adjusted the temperature to allow Hiraeth to stay.

Caelix: That's better.

Hiraeth: Thanks.

Caelix: So, heavy metal music, you were asking why I was listening to it.

Hiraeth: Yeah.

Caelix: Heavy metal is not what you think.

Hiraeth: How?

Caelix: Heavy metal is not trying to hold back emotions, it's more like letting out feelings you had bottled up inside.

Hiraeth: So it's a kind of a release?

Caelix: It is, if you want to try it out, you can.

Hiraeth: Um, hold that thought.

Hiraeth went to the door and Caelix let her out. Hiraeth went straight to the mansion. Naku saw her coming.

Naku: Hey Hiraeth, need something?

Hiraeth: You wouldn't happen to have an electronic violin would you.

Naku: Want to borrow it?

Hiraeth: And an Amp.

Naku: Come and get them.

Hiraeth got an electric violin with an amp and headed back to Caelix. When she got there, Caelix let her in and let her set up. Once she set up she started playing some notes for a few minutes.

Caelix: Nope.

Caelix stopped Hiraeth.

Caelix: Stop fighting the notes, just let it flow, breathe.

Hiraeth readied herself and took a breath and started again.but this time she was putting her emotions into it.

Caelix: Let everything out.
