Everything was going smoothly across all dimensions, the soul people were getting better at their powers and peace was reigning everywhere. Pure was doing his work when he received a notification
Pure: Oh, Wilson is back to full health, they are giving him his flu shots now.
Alisha: What about Hiraeth?
Pure: Keeping to her probation and has taken up music, mostly the violin.
Alisha: She a natural?
Pure: Seems so, when the school year begins, she wants to enroll and learn music and a second language.
Carolina: Did she sign the adoption papers?
Pure: Not yet, she is thinking about it.
Over in Santa Compana, Hiraeth was taking some time to get the hand placement right to play the right notes. A curse was helping her by showing her how to do each note.
Hiraeth: Catching some of these notes are harder than I thought.
Curse: Yes, it will take some time for you to get muscle memory but you do show promise.
Hiraeth: Thanks.
Hiraeth got up and put the violin away and headed out, a different curse was keeping an eye on her. She was heading out until she saw a yeti walking around on all fours. Hiraeth got curious.
Hiraeth:Hello?
The yeti looked around then down and saw Hiraeth.
Yeti: Oh, hello there little one?
Hiraeth: I'm nineteen big boy.
Yeti: Oh, I'm sorry.
Hiraeth: What kind of demi-human are you?
Yeti: I'm part yeti.
Hiraeth: Then why do you have the cracks like the soul people do?
Yeti: I'm a special case. Some of us had to be transformed into demi-humans because of how much soul power we took in. Normal people have a good amount but some of us got overloaded with it, resulting in this.
Hiraeth: Did you pick yeti?
Yeti: I did.
Hiraeth: What's your name?
Yeti: Caelix.
Hiraeth looked at Caelix's fur.
Hiraeth: How soft is your fur?
Caelix: Very, would you like to touch?
Hiraeth: Sure.
Caelix reached out his hand and she started to rub his fur.
Hiraeth: This is so soft.
Hiraeath put her face on his fur and then stop after a minute.
Caelix: You like?
Hiraeth: Yeah.
Caelix: Yeti sells their molted fur to looms to make soft and comfy clothing.
Hiraeth: I'll see if I can get some of that clothing .
Caelix: I'm still adjusting and haven't gotten my first thick coat but it has been really nice here.
Hiraeth: Me too.
Caelix saw the circuit lines on her skin instead of the soul cracks.
Caelix: You with the mansion or shrine?
Hiraeth: Shrine.
Caelix: With the family?
Hiraeth: Yeah.
