Remnants of Old Threats

Back in all three dimensions, Morpheous, Xavier, Xavierre, Pascal and Mira. They were talking about how many threats they had and how they have been pulling things together despite what roadblocks the alliance has. Since all five of them are AI hybrids, they talked in their heads in a private room.

Morpheous: OK, I have been going through all the current threats that we got along with any that you three have and something is off here.

Mira: Yeah, you guys had several big threats and we have only smallest ones from your quests and logs.

Xavier: It's still the fact of who paid these guys to even build these, have nukes and weapons.

Xavierre: Things are cash flow, resources and human resources.

Pascal: Mom and Dad always left sensors on any suspicious movement and I'm not getting anything there.

Morpheous: What about the old ways to do it?

Pascal: What do you mean?

Morpheous: I mean, making these things yourself, any old communications, anything like that?

Pascal: Let me check.

Pascal went through all the sensors and they were all fine and didn't record anything but when he was going to close it he noticed one lit up.

Pascal: Hold up, one named, Dark Communications is starting up.

Morpheous came out of the cyberworld for a minute, he is connected wirelessly.

Morpheous: Hey Dad, Pascal said a sensor with the name Dark Communications is starting up, that mean anything?

That made Seth stop what he was doing.

Seth: Oh you got to be kidding me, you kids in a private room?

Morpheous: Yeah?

Seth: Let me in, Vic is on the fourth dimension so she can't operate this.

Seth and Morpheous went back into the cyberworld and let Seth to the private room.

Seth: Hey kids, Victoria left those old sensors running in case someone wanted to try that route and think we forgot about them. How long have they been talking?

Pascal: Under two minutes, I can see the wavelength move but we cant hear it.

Seth: Ah.

Seth did a little work and they could hear it.

Seth: Only me, Vic or Reese can hear these, just added you five to it.

Person: Are you sure they aren't even looking at this line of communication?

Person 2: No one has been using this for years, no way they would still have the sensors on this old thing.

Mira: We are muted right?

Seth: Yup and they don't even know we are here, something we made before we just left it detecting.

Person: If so, they took out two of our plans so far.

Person 2: The third one will work, they just got lucky those two times.

Xavier: It wasn't luck...

Xavierre: It was skill.

Person: They already took out the plane, the nuke, the facilities, what next?

Person 2: We have our contacts thanks to the triangle, we just need to keep trying till these kids crack.

Seth: If they are talking abouot who I think they are, then we know where they getting the resources and money.

Xavier: Who?
