𝙘𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥

Finally on your lunch break, you finish the food Bakugo pre-made before going to the roof for an after meal smoke.

"Sooo.. you have a husband?" Shinso spawns out of nowhere, your heart felt as if it momentarily stopped from shock

"Geez Toshi you're going to give me a heart attack" you exhale a cloud of smoke, "and where'd you hear that?" furrowing your brows at him

"Some of the nurses in my ward were talking about it" he shrugs taking out a stick from his pack before lighting it.

"For such a big hospital, word sure travels around quick" you mumble earning a laugh from Shinso, "Katsuki came by yesterday to drop off some lunch and the nurses swarmed around him, he called me his wife thinking they'd go away but nope. So me being me I stepped in, called him my husband then dragged him away before he'd go 'I'll kill you' mode"

"first name basis already?" he asks rhetorically, you forgot that Shinso wasn't in the room when you reunited with Bakugo.

"We're actually childhood friends so we grew up together until I left for England" sheepishly smiling while rubbing the back of your neck, "I only met him through my patient, you probably know him too since you studied at UA, Eijiro Kirishima?"

Shinso nods in response, "yeah he's a sweet guy, I'm just surprised really..  I just didn't expect for you to be so close to Bakugo since he's always a jerk to everyone" he kisses his teeth, "I even wonder how he has friends" he blurts out with annoyance.

"yeah" you chuckle, "katsuki is like that to everyone, thats just how he is but deep down he's also a really sweet guy" Unknowingly you smile catching the attention of Shinso whose been observing how soft you speak and how relaxed your body becomes when talking about Bakugo. He could've sworn he saw a small blush colouring your cheeks which led him to his next question

"y/n.. don't tell me you actually like him?" Suspicion in his voice as you burst out laughing

"Me and sparky?" The idea of you dating someone felt weird, especially your childhood friend — sure you miss him and like the idea of having him there but dating? There's no way, "we're just close friends"

Without realising two weeks pasts by with no word from Bakugo. Life was really back to normal, work then straight home.

Today was actually a decent day, no major surgeries happening back to back and simply signing discharge forms for the patients — a breather from the usual chaos.

Once lunch starts you decide to treat yourself to the newly opened coffee shop. The smell of fresh pastries and coffee fill your nose as your stomach grumbles in excitement of tasting the food.

While sitting comfortably at the corner of the coffee shop, munching on the fresh pastries, you bump into Shinso. He had a tired, older looking male with messy black locks resembling Shinso slightly, 'that must be his Dadzawa' you thought. Along side him is a bubbly teenager with long silver hair, rambling to the semi-interested Dadzawa who'd nod every few sentences in acknowledgement to her stories.

"y/n!" Shinso smiles walking over to your table, "I'm surprised you actually left the hospital" he chuckles

"slow and easy day" you shrug with a boastful smile

"Onii-chan, dads asking what you want" the silver haired girl cutely asks Shinso, "oh!" She looks at you wide eyed before flashing a mischievous look at Shinso, "Oh~ Nii chan is this your girlfriend?" She teases, lightly nudging him with her elbow making you giggle
