"Okay, okay" you laugh grabbing another shot and downing it, "when we were younger I saw him at the park on the ground and he -" before you could utter another word Bakugo leans over and covers your mouth with his hand. The whole table looks in confusion at the pair.
"Not that one" He growls but you couldn't hear anything over your pounding heart as he slowly pulls away. You gulp grabbing another drink to calm yourself.
"Okay, how about the day I left?" You ask Bakugo for confirmation as he huffs a 'fine' while grabbing his own drink to prepare himself for the inevitable jokes his friends will make.
"The day I left, Sparky over here gave me this necklace" You pull out the chain from the inside of your shirt to show a red plastic ring hanging.
Bakugo eyes widen seeing the ring he gave you still intact. A warm feeling brushes over him as a smile tugs on his face, "I can't believe you still have that" he chuckles.
"OH MY GOD! HE'S SMILING!" Kaminari yells rapidly slapping Sero's arm. After hearing Kaminari, Bakugo clears his throat and downs another shot.
"Well.. it's hard to forget when someone proposes" you shrug obviously teasing Bakugo
"HUHHH!? I DIDNT PROPOSE YOU-" Bakugo was drowned out by Camie and Mina's squeals as you laugh at their reaction. You grab your shot glass about to place it to your lips.
"OMGG Y/N YOU DIDNT TELL ME SOMEONE ELSE PROPOSED TO YOU!" Camie squeals as you freeze slightly before downing the shot. This didn't go unnoticed by Bakugo, "Oh shit" Camie covers her mouth with her hands, "I'm sorry y/n I-"
"It's fine" your tone was blunt and sharp trying to brush the issue of your past under the rug where it's been buried the past few months.
"y/n I-" Camie tries to speak again only to be cut off by you.
"I said it's fine, I think you should stop drinking before you say anything else" referring to your horrible miscarriage that she and Shinso were there to see.
"Oi why you acting that way to sticky lips? So what? You were engaged then got left at the alter, I would've done the same" Bakugo shrugs being completely unaware from the weight of his words.
A soft, slight, maniacal laugh escapes your lips before looking at the rest of the table, "right.. I'm sorry for ruining the great atmosphere, I'll be going home early to rest"
Hurriedly, you grabbed your belongings and bolted out of the restaurant.

"Argh I'm so stupid" Camie buries her face in the palm of her hands, "I need to go talk to her and apologise, I'm sorry guys" with that Camie leaves to follow you leaving everyone at the table dumbfounded.
"Bakubitch why did you have to say that!?" Mina scolds the ash blonde
"What!? I was joking, how the fuck was I supposed to know she'll do a dramatic walk out, tsk" He scoffs
Although Bakugo would be lying if he said he didn't care about what happened. He wanted to know, he wanted to know why you reacted that way since he knew you before. You'd always make jokes and tease each other back and forth since that was just how your relationship was with one another.
Bakugo came to the simple realisation that he knew you but he doesn't know you now. He doesn't know anything you've been through the past 15 years you've spent apart.
Something clearly happened.
