Fitz's POV

It's almost been month since Alvar and I switched so he'd be coming back soon. I want to tell Sophie everything that's happened, but I never find the right time. And I keep on wondering how she's going to react. Will she be happy? Sad? Betrayed?

Biana had told me a few things as well. They had hung out together a few days ago and Biana had found out a bit more of Alvar and Sophie's relationship. In my opinion, I thought Alvar was a terrible boyfriend. Sophie is an amazing girl but he takes advantage of her.

We both sat on the couch, reading a few books when we heard Sophie's phone ring from the kitchen. Sophie set the book aside and answered the phone.

"Yeah, this is Sophie Ruewen..." Ruewen. Why does that name sound really familiar? It was just on the tip of my tongue but I couldn't remember.

"What... which hospital... how's he doing now... what are the visiting hours... all right, thanks," I walked to Sophie and found her standing against the counter, a tear running down her cheek.

"Soph what's wrong?"

"My dad, he's in the hospital. He was just in an accident," she said. I brought her in a hug and rubber her back as she cried in my shoulder.

"Hey, everything is going to be all right. He's going to be fine and he'll make a great recovery," I calmed, kissing the top of her head. "When are visiting hours?"

"9: 30 to 12: 30 and 7 to 10," she mumbled.

"It's 5, we can visit him in a few hours, okay?" She nodded her head and we stayed like that for another minute or so.

Sophie broke apart and kissed me. I smiled as I kissed her back, my hand cupping her left cheek, my other arm wrapped around her waist, bringing her closer to me.

"I love you." She said as we broke apart.

"I love you too." She smiled as we kissed again, shorter this time. We made our way back to the couch. We had cuddled up on the couch and I soon realized Sophie was asleep when I head her cute little snores.

Sophie's POV

Me and Alvar made our way inside the hospital, going to the woman at the front.

"Which room is Grady Ruewen in?" I ask. She looks it up on the computer and looks back up again.

"Room 310," I gave her a smile.

"Thanks." She returned the smile and Alvar and I headed went to the elevator, waiting for it. Once it had arrived, I clicked on the number 3. When it had opened the doors, we went on a search for room 310, and when I had spotted, Edaline, my adoptive mother, sitting on a chair wiping her tears, I quickly ran to her.

"Sophie! I'm so glad you made." She said, while I hugged her.

"Of course I made it. What's going on right now?" I ask. She simply shrugged her shoulders and looked at the ground.

"The doctors haven't reported anything yet." Edaline said, as Alvar made his way to us. Edalien gave him a small smile and he returned it back.

"What had happened anyways?" I ask, taking the seat beside her.

"I was on call with him and everything had been fine, until I hear a crash from the other side of the phone. I called his name several times, not hearing anything. I call the cops and an ambulance of course and it turns out he was in an accident. By the time they called me back, he was already in here." She explained. And then a doctor came out the room.

"Edaline Ruewen?" Edaline nodded her head and stood up.

"It turns out Grady has gained a broken arm, and leg. There were several shards of glass in his legs, but thankfully they were big enough for us to pick up. Although we aren't sure when he would wake up," He informed, looking up from is clipboard.

"Can we see him?"

"Yeah, 2 at a time," I looked at Edaline.

"You can go in by yourself, I'll give you some privacy," she gave a tight smile and headed in the room once all the other doctors had left. After 5 minutes of waiting, Edaline exited the room, fresh tears running down her cheeks.

"Do you want to go in by yourself?" I shook my head.

"Can you please come with me?" He gave a soft smile and nodded and I held his hand before we entered his room. It pained me to see my dad in this situation. His eyes were closed, and several vitals were connected to him and I was thankful when I continued on hearing his BP make the sound of BEEP BEEP BEEP.

"I know you probably can't hear me right now dad. But I just want to say I love you. I know that you'll make an amazing recovery. You're an amazing father and you're very important in my life. I miss and love you dearly. I don't know what me and Edaline for that matter, would do without you. We love you so much and  truly hope you'll wake up soon." Once I was close to finishing, I heard the most heartbreaking sound ever.

BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP.
