"ARE YOU joking me?" alexandria heard chris mutter under his breath at the sight of her at the door.

alexandria sent daggers his way before speaking, "don't think for a second that i would be responsible for this. i'd much rather be in the pits of hell than in a room with you."

chris rolled his eyes as he flipped her off, walking towards a group of girls who had clearly been begging for his attention.

it was alexandria's turn to roll her eyes. he had an annoying habit of flirting with anyone who had a pulse directly in front of her, causing her to lose her appetite.

everyone was perched at different corners of the room, until the bell rang and the new teacher entered the classroom.

alexandria was quick to notice her overall quirky nature. she had sort of rushed into the room as if she were late, so lexi assumed that this new teacher would be late often.
she was also wearing her hair in some sort of messy looking bun resting atop her head. she looked kind, though.

"hello everyone! i'll be your new english teacher since the teacher before me is pregnant. my name is mrs evans, i'm sure i'll learn all of your names in due time." the teacher, mrs evans, rambled.

lexi liked her.

"now, i'm sure you're used to sitting in alphabetical order or something like that," mrs evans started, but was interrupted.

"nah, our last teacher let us pick who to sit with." the aggravating voice of chris, followed by the childish giggles of his groupies, could be heard from the back of the room.

lexi shook her head in annoyance. every time that boy opened his mouth, she could see herself going to jail for third degree murder. hell, maybe first degree if she gave herself enough time to plan.

"ah, i see i've found the joker of the class. come forward please." the teacher smiled, waiting for the disruptor to show himself.

chris slowly made his way to the front, walking as if he had no destination.

"what's your name, comedy genius?" mrs evans joked.

"chris." he answered simply.

"well it's your lucky day, i have you assigned to the seat right by my desk at the front." she smiled, and the smile seemed to get wider when she was met with a huff of complaint from chris.
