The day was here and now it's gone.
The time of bats has come along.
They had their turn, they slept their best.
And now our turn has come to rest.

While others love the deep, dark night.
Well I'm a fan of both I say,
As long as some sleep comes my way.

Another autumn day is done.
A pretty good one, had some sun.
It's time to wash and go to bed,
And find a pillow for your head.

Twinkle twinkle little bed
A comfy pillow for my head.
Plus the doona and the sheets,
And the warmth they bring to sleep.

Another day comes to an end.
It's time to get some rest.
Lie down in bed to get some sleep,
Get ready for the next.
