The "fool" raises their hand
unable to comprehend a simple thought.
We laugh as they make their realization that their question was stupid,
and that they were somehow better off remaining silent. The fool laughs at the "fool",
conquering their question effortlessly
and pitying them for a question that somehow made them dumber. The biggest fool breeds these fools who prey on the "fools".
It feeds them knowledge which they tolerate and ignores the intolerant.
The biggest fool bathes them with ego as they master the art of labor,
fertilizing their ranks among their tolerant peers,
and leaves behind the intolerant, curious "fools".The "fool" is curious about the world around them,
more curious than the tolerant fools who grasp their unchanging, printed world.
The "fool" is left without answers to its silly questions,
as it sees the world through its intolerant lens,
wondering why those who conquer the difficulties of learning
choose to master a life of pencil and paper. The fool escapes this battleground of tolerance unscathed and unmatched,
yet as it enters the outside world,
its ship of tolerance crumbles in the face of reality. The intolerant "fool" navigates these waters with nothing short of brilliance,
learning at every step of the way the answers to the once intolerable questions which once brought their defeat. This "fool" soon understands the irony of the intolerant, stupid questions it once asked,
and sails the water in a ship of intolerance,
as it navigates them closer to understanding their world.
