I was shook awake by Fry, disoriented. It reminded me of the first time I woke up in the box, with no memories of how I got there or who I was.

"Shhh." He placed a finger to his lips.

I shot him a confused look. Newt was standing behind him in his fluffy collared jacked. "What's going on?"

"Thomas is going to get Minho back, so we're going with him."

"Why would he try to go alone?" I got out of my hammock, slipping on my own jacket and loading my shotgun.

"Because the dumb shank thinks he's protecting us." Newt said."He won't stand a chance on his own."

I followed them quietly out of the main complex, avoiding drooping arms and legs to not wake anyone up. We headed out to the truck, Fry slung his backpack into the back, and got into the drivers seat. I went to get in the backseat when Newt stopped me. Footsteps heading towards us.

"Where'd you think you're going then?" He switched on the lamp beside us.

Thomas sighed. "Newt-"

"Don't be a twat about it, we're already in."

"This times different, even if we find Minho, there's no guarantee we'll make it back this time."

"Well you'll need all the help you can get then." He opened the passover door, the car light switching on so Fry could be seen sitting in the drivers seat "we started this together. May as well end it that way, too."

Thomas couldn't think of anything to argue, so we packed into the truck and headed off on our journey. Sometime during the trip, I fell asleep and woke up again when we came to a stop. I got out with the others, to see we had reached a tunnel.

"I don't want to sound too negative, but if I were a crank, that's exactly where I'd be." Newt spoke.

Thomas observed the map in his hands. "I don't think we have much of a choice."

"Alright, but I get shotgun."

We loaded back into the truck and headed into the tunnel. Headlights lighting the way. Newt was holding a torch out of his window.

For the most part, the tunnell seemed abandoned. Then, a croaking sound came from ahead.

"Woah, look." Thomas pointed to the crank standing a few metres away. Twitching its body in an inhuman way. Fry stopped the truck.

"It's ok it's just one." Thomas resurred,"just take it slow."

"Take it slow." Fry repated "take it slow."

Newt switched off his torch, winding his window back up. Thomas sprung back into me with a scream. A crank had her face pressed to the window, twisting the door handle to get in. Another one appeared on my door, then more started creeping out from the dark of the tunnel.

"Just go! Floor it, Fry!" Thomas screamed.

Fry obeyed, and put his foot down on the pedal. One of the cranks managed to jump onto the bonnet, punching the windscreen. I watched in horror as the glass began to crack.

"Shake it! Shake it off!"

I held onto the side of the truck as it swerved, sending the crank flying off.

"Frypan, look out!"

It crashed into something and tilted to the side. I felt gravity pull me to the roof of the truck, hitting my side with such force I cried out in pain.

"Shit, is everyone ok?" Thomas kicked the door open, climbing out. Stretching his hand out to me to grab, and helped me onto my feet.

Either Newt or Fry was kicking the passenger door to get it open, but it was blocked and wouldn't budge.

"Newt go round." Thomas opened the door on the other side, and Newt rolled out. He got to his feet and held his arm, which he probably injured on the impact.

Another croaking sound caught our attention. A crank stumbled towards our direction.

"Fry..." I called.

"Fry come on, we gotta go!" Thomas observed the crank picking up its pace and began to get panicked."FRY!"

Fry staggered out of the truck and shot the crank down. I stepped back as it fell at my feet. That wasn't the end of it. More began approaching. Fry began shooting at them, too.

"Fry this way!" Thomas motioned to more of them coming up behind us, and Fry turned around to shoot them, then back to the ones infront. I took out my own shotgun to help, but I quickly ran out of bullets, and so did he.

"I'm out!"

"Me too."

Just as I thought this would be it, a truck accelerated into the tunnel. Brenda popped out the top, shooting the cranks. "Get in!"

We wasted no time. I jumped into the back, adjusting my jacket. Jorge drove the truck out of the tunnel and into the daylight.

"Well, I'm impressed." Jorge said,"You almost lasted a day."

Brenda leaned over her seat to look at us with a smirk as if to say dumbass "You're welcome."

Thomas looked out of the window, and his eyes widened. "Hey, that's it."

The truck holted abruptly, making me jolt. I looked out the window to see it. The city. The last city. I jumped out of the car, getting a closer look. There was a huge wall surrounding it. Seemed like wickeds answer for everything. "How the hell are we gonna get in there?"

"We won't find out standing here." Jorge headed back to the truck .Come on, let's go."
