~The Wedding~

Maingay ang loob ng Mary Help of Christian Parish. Pero hindi nakakairita sa pandinig. Bagkus ay nakakaaliw nga. Mula sa romantic music na pumapailanlang sa buong simbahan, mga nag-uusap na mga tao, tili ng mga naghahabulang mga bata at ang pagsaway ng mga magulang. Gayundin ang hindi magkamayaw na mga organizers para sa mga pag-aayos ng kalahok.

I get it.  Everyone are hilariously excited to this special event.

Today, infront of God, two people will finally tie the knots. They will finally say their vows. That these two hearts will become one. 

Oh to be married to the man of God.

Wedding. Lahat naman siguro tayo ay pinangarap maikasal sa taong mahal natin. Ang maikasal sa taong pinili ng Diyos na makasama natin sa buhay natin.

Bata pa lang ako pinangarap ko ng magpakasal. I want to have marriage like my parents. Full of love.

How sweet it is to be find your true love? Imagine of you waking up with a morning kiss, with a slightly burned sunny side up egg as a breakfast. Warm cuddles during cold rainy days, fighting with small things and then make it up right away, and serving God together. So, dreamy.

I remember, someone asked before, 'what is love?' to me.

Natahimik ako at napaisip ng malalim. Napaisip ako kung ano nga ba talaga ang ibig sabihin ng salitang pag-ibig. Masyadong malawak ang salitang pag-ibig. Iba't-iba tayo ng kahulugan nito.

Love is mysterious yet powerful. It can conquers everything. It can makes us happy and it make us cry.  Sometimes, we suffer because of it. Pero hindi mo naman mararananasan magsuffer hanggat hindi ka tunay na nagmamahal. Kapag nagmahal ka dapat ay handang kang masaktan. Dahil hindi mo masasabing nagmahal ka nang hindi nasasaktan. A person loves truly when he or she suffer. Happily suffering. Pero pagmamahal lang din ang gamot sa mga nasugatang puso.

Love is an intangible thing. You cannot see nor touch. It does not exist until the moment a person feel it. It does not exist until someone live for it. From being a noun to a verb.

Love is not really hard to find. Love is everywhere. You just have to be more focus to see it. But one thing is for sure when you feel it, own it. Live with it. Do everything for love. Do everything in love. Do everything with love. Because a life without love is not worth living.

But how can you say if it's really love or a greatest love?

Malalaman mo kung ito ay tunay na pag-ibig kung handa kang magparaya. Because love is setting free. Love is not about holding on, love is also about letting go.

Nasaan ang greatest love? Nasa altar nakapako.  Si Hesus na piniling mamatay sa Krus para iligtas tayo. He can save us in just flip of His finger but He chose to be born and become human ang went through that agony to save the humankind. He did it to shows to us the greatest form of love. 

Nowadays, rare are those who believed in love. Failed marriages and tragic love stories caused people to doubt the power of love, the marriage. It lost it's sacredness. And that's very saddening.

Kaya naman sobrang swerte ng mga taong nakakahanap ng tamang taong mamahalin nila at pakakasalan nila.

Kaya hindi ko masisi ang mga taong nandito kung bakit ganito na lang ang reaksyon nila. Who wouldn't be happy thinking one of your love ones will getting married? Kahit naman sino ay matutuwa talaga. Iyong tipong hindi naman ang ikakasal pero parang ikaw naman ang ikakasal sa sobrang excited.
