Treat you Better

Chapter 11-

It was a few days later and I was back at the apartment, Bucky was still on the mission with Sam. I was sitting on the couch with alpine, I was just checking for any unusual activity in the areas that the flag smashers have been to see if they've come back to those places. I was just doing that until I got a call from a police station. I picked up the call.
"Hello?" I ask.
"Hello, is this Delia?" The police officer asks.
"Yes." I say, confused.
"Okay great. Can you come in? We have James here and he won't talk to us." He says, I sigh and run my hands over my face.
"Yes sir, I'll be there soon." I sigh. He hung up the phone and I got up and put on my black converse, grabbed my car keys and drove to the police station that I got the call from. I arrived and I got out of my car and walked inside of the station and they took me to where Bucky was. He was with Sam. That's when I remember that Bucky had a therapy session today. I walked over to Bucky and put my hand on his shoulder.
"Did you forget about your therapy today?" I asked him. He looked up at me.
"Crap. That's today?" he asked me. I nodded and leaned down and pressed a kiss to his head.
"What did you guys even do to end up in here?" I ask them. I looked between Bucky and Sam. They shrugged their shoulders. I sighed and ran my hand over my face.
"I'll just call Dr. Raynor here." I said, pulling my phone out. I called Bucky's therapist and it wasn't long until she was here. She took a seat behind the table that Bucky and Sam were sitting in front of. I just leaned against the wall, so pressure wasn't being put on my ankle that was still healing. She had them face each other, and get their feelings out. Bucky was never one to express feelings, but he really only expressed his feelings with me.

6 months later
Bucky and Sam had finally finished the mission with flag smashers. Sam has officially become the new Captain America. During the 6 months of this mission, Bucky had broken Zemo out of jail, which ultimately got him a visit from the Dora Milaje. I was with him during parts of the mission, and during other parts of the mission, I returned back home. The nights that I was at home, and he was gone on the mission, we would face time until I fell asleep. He finally was gonna be back today. I was sitting on the couch with alpine, watching the Flash when the door opened. I saw Bucky at the door, and he had a bouquet of my favorite flowers. I smiled at him as I paused the tv and got up, walking over to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck, leaning up to kiss him.
"Hey buck." I smiled against his lips.
"Hey doll." He replied as his free hand went around my waist. Alpine walked up to bucky and rubbed against his leg while purring.
"Looks like alpine missed you." I say, chuckling. Bucky flashed me a grin.
"I'm sure you did too." he said, I rolled my eyes and turned around to walk back to the couch. I unpaused my show. I was laying down on the couch. Bucky walked over and put the flowers on the coffee table before he lifted my head and sat down, putting my head on his lap. I was looking up at him, not paying attention to my show that I've watched a bunch of times, even if it has like 9 seasons.
"I missed you too, even if we just talked last night on the phone." He said, chuckling.
"Talking on the phone is different from talking in person." I say, getting comfortable as Alpine comes and lays in front of me.
