What a plot twist you were~

Flashback

After three weeks since their last meeting, Murtaza found himself once again standing outside Zaim's house. Despite being invited by Zaim himself, he felt uneasy about encountering that vicious girl.

Servants guided him through the garden towards Zaim's room. As they reached the halfway point, Murtaza noticed a shadow in the corner of the garden. Curiosity got the better of him, and he stole a glance, only to find the girl crafting miniature pots and clay furniture, such as sofas. It amused him to see Daneen there in the sunset, her face glowing with a mix of sweat and rosy hues.

She was so engrossed in doing her work that she didn't realize Murtaza standing near her.

"Chuiyya! Itni garmi mein kyu bethi ho?"
He said that to tease that eight years old.

"Tumse matlab, bander?"

Daneen rudely said.

"Kitni batemeez ho tum. Bilkul Zaim ki behn nahi lagte!"

Murtaza shook his head in sympathy for her family members. This had triggered her.

"Apne kaam se kaam rakho! Mujhe tum bohatt bure lagte ho! Zaim bhai mere best friend the lekin unho ne tum se dosti karli aur ab mera koi dost nahi hai sirf tumhari wajah se bander!"

Daneen complained.

"Tumhara dost tumhari zubaan ki wajha se nahi hain. Zubaan ki bohatt khadwii ho!"

Murtaza feigned sympathy for her.

"Tumse matlab! Maar khaaoge mere se!"

Daneen narrowed her eyes and approached cautiously, rolling up her sleeves with her dirt-covered hands. She clenched her fist, trying to intimidate him.

Murtaza gulped hard seeing her approach him with the intention to beat him.

"Dekho mere kareeb bhi nah aana! Warna.... Warna.."

Murtaza roamed his eyes all over the garden to threaten her with something.

"Warna kya huh!! Bolo darpok!"
Daneen mocked him.

"Warna main tumhaare matti ke bartan todh dunga!"

Murtaza gave her a warning, but she responded with a scoff, causing him to scowl. With a few swift steps, Murtaza  stepped on Daneen's freshly crafted clay pots, which made her shriek in dismay.

"Told ya!"

Saying this he exited, making Daneen burn in the fire of revenge.

"I hate this bander!"

She healed her own brokenness~

Three years had passed since Zaim's departure, and he had not returned. Daneen sat on her balcony, gazing at the rain with a somber expression. Normally, she cherished rain and the joy of bathing in it, but today she couldn't find the heart to derive any pleasure from it.

She reached for her phone and discovered a message from Zaim, inquiring about her well-being. With tears welling up in her eyes, she composed a text, pouring out her emotions.

"Bhai, when will you return? We miss you so much. Mom hasn't been the same since you left. Her eyes have lost their sparkle. Please don't do this to her, to us."
