When did my life change so much? Was it when I became a manager? When I started dating Yeji? When... I left her?

Sighing, I crouched down to remove the items from the washing machine. I simply placed all the damp clothes in the basket.

Was it when JYP wanted to talk to me? Probably...

I lifted the basket and made my way to the clothes rack. There, I placed the basket on the floor and began hanging up the wet clothes.

But my thoughts kept drifting back to my life. At what point did I start feeling empty and exhausted? When did the best time of my life end?

Flashback
Y/n's disappearance

My eyes looked at Yeji. I was still dressed in pajamas as I watched Yeji getting dressed. I bit my lip slightly.

Today... I would disappear.

I got up from the bed as I saw Yeji quietly leaving the room, thinking that I was still asleep. I smiled because she really tried to be quiet. I simply followed her.

Yeji noticed me as she was putting on her jacket. She looked at me in surprise. She thought I had the day off, even though I had quit my job a few days ago.

"Jagiya, you have the day off. You should rest," she said as she came closer to me. Her hand on my cheek as her eyes scanned my entire face.

I smiled as I leaned into her hand. "I love you, Yeji," I said, my face serious. Yeji smiled immediately as I looked straight into her beautiful almost black eyes.

My lips pressed together. "I... will always love you, Yeji. No matter what happens," I said softly, sighing. My eyes locked with hers.

I smiled. "Don't wait for me," I said. Yeji looked at me. She nodded her head. "Okay. I'll come straight home after we're done with the live tonight," she said.

She didn't understand...

I smiled as I nodded my head. Yeji zipped up her jacket. She gave me a kiss. "See you tonight, Jagiya," she said with a smile and opened the door.

My chest ached...
Tonight... I wouldn't be here anymore...

I immediately grabbed her wrist, causing her to turn back to me. I swallowed to maintain a neutral expression.

"I love you," I said again, now much more serious than before. Yeji chuckled softly, "What's wrong with you?" she asked as she pulled me into a more intimate kiss. Her hands on my hips. "I love you," Yeji said now.

Sighing, I closed my eyes. "I love you so much... I just... want to see you happy. That's the most important thing to me," I said softly, almost breathlessly.

Yeji grinned and tightened her grip on me. "I am happy. I have you, our new music, and the others. I am truly happy," she replied, and I simply smiled.

"You should go now, Jagiya. You don't want to be late, hm?" I asked, chuckling. Yeji almost jumped at that. She quickly gave me another quick kiss on the lips and disappeared through the door.

But I still stood there. A smirk on my face, slowly turning into a sad sniffle. Tears had already gathered in my eyes.

Some tears escaped and rolled down my cheeks, but I quickly wiped them away as I took a deep breath.

I couldn't cry now...

My feet carried me back to the bedroom. There, I immediately grabbed the suitcase I had hidden at the back of the closet a few days ago.
