Chapter 14.

Flashback

Y/N POV

"Jagiya..." I sighed, looking at the older woman who had just come home. My arms reached out to her with a puppy-eyed expression. Yeji looked at me, not even taking off her shoes. Her eyes widened slightly in surprise as she saw me.

She smiled and quickly took off her shoes. Her arms immediately wrapped around my waist, pulling me close to her. My arms wrapped around her neck. "I missed you," I said. Yeji smiled widely, guiding me back to the couch. I grinned with joy. Feeling Yeji so close to me was incredible.

Yeji sat on the couch and pulled me onto her lap. I smiled, resting my face on her neck. "What's wrong, Jagiya?" Yeji asked, visibly surprised by my behavior. I laughed lightly, my lips leaving feather-light kisses on her neck.

Yeji hesitated a bit. Her hands were on my lower back. She tilted her head back against the couch, giving me more space. I grinned slightly. My hand tugged at her jacket, and Yeji took it off. Her hands wandered under my T-shirt.

She hummed with pleasure, closing her eyes. My lips, however, moved from her neck to her ear, where I sucked on the sensitive skin. She sighed out with enjoyment. Her fingernails lightly dug into my skin. My lips then wandered back to her jawline and her lips.

"What do you want to eat?" I asked, kissing Yeji as my lips met hers. My teeth caught her lower lip, tugging on it slightly. Yeji's eyes opened again, and she looked me straight in the eyes. I grinned slightly and stopped. I removed my lips from hers, looking into her eyes.

Yeji paused, "Are you... on your period?" she asked cautiously. Her fingers caressed my hip. I smirked as I nodded my head. Yeji looked at me. A soft smile formed on her face, "What do you want to order, Jagiya?" she asked, and almost immediately, I sighed. My hands played with her baby hair at the back of her neck.

"I don't know," I replied, but Yeji knew exactly how to handle this situation. She grabbed the remote, her arm holding me tight so I wouldn't fall off her lap. She turned on the TV and curiously, I looked at the screen.

"I love you," I immediately said as I saw that Yeji put on the K-Drama "While You Were Sleeping." Almost instantly, I got off her lap and sat properly on the couch. My eyes fixed on the TV. I heard Yeji giggle, giving me a kiss on the cheek before standing up.

I loved how Yeji took care of me when I had pain. She had ordered my favorite food for later and even went out again to buy me white chocolate and ice cream. Then she got ready for bed, making me a hot water bottle and sitting next to me.

She only wore a tank top, as she noticed that my body temperature drastically rose when I had my period, at least when I had pain. She had already prepared a glass of water and a tablet in case the pain got too much. She also made me tea.

We snuggled up and watched episode after episode. Yeji never complained once. Sometimes, she was on Tiktok, watching videos without sound. My head was on her shoulder.

Annoyed, my forehead had been furrowed the entire time. I had to step in for a Colleague for a short period of 3 hours. i asked Ji-Eun Unnie if she could take care of Alex. Unfortunately, she had some work to do, and the only person I could ask for help was Yuna. She had Alex, my son. However, she had texted me an hour ago that she was called to the JYP building, and Alex went along with her.

Now, after years, I found myself back at the building. Nervously, I looked at the revolving door and took a deep breath before entering. My phone was in my hand, and I immediately called Yuna. It didn't take long for her to pick up. Panic-stricken, she stammered, "H-Hey, Y/n. I'm so sorry. I lost Alex," she said, and my breath caught in my throat. My eyes widened.
