Ring! Ring! My alarm goes off. I open my eyes turn off my alarm and stare at my ceiling. I have school today. I really don't want to go to school today.

I hear a vibration. Someone texted me. Do I want to answer it? No. Should I answer it? Yes. I roll out of bed to check my phone.

Oh! It's Vex! My best friend! I excitedly look at my phone and respond back. Before I do I realize the notification was from "Vex the t-rex" She had that username for weeks but I still couldn't get over the fact I gave her that nickname. (A/N: They use an app to talk so their usernames are there instead of their real names.)

Vex the t-rex: RAIN WAKE UP!

I was already awake!-Ra1n1sB0red

Vex the t-rex- Lol sorry. Not really but anyways. I'm at your house

EXCUSE ME!? VEX I JUST WOKE UP -Ra1n1sB0red

Vex the t-rex: Then hurry up and get ready

I quickly put down my phone and ran. Of course me and Vex were gonna spend the whole day together at scool like always but this was really early.

I got changed, brushed my teeth and hair, made some toast and ran out the house door. Vex was sitting there standing against my porch.

"It is six in the morning. Why did you do this to me?" I said in an annoyed tone.

"Oh shush. I'm gonna have to go to school and say "Oh yeah my friend Rain? She is so grumpy." I am I gonna have to say that?" Said Vex.

"I'm gonna have to go to school saying "Oh yeah my friend Vex? SHE WAS AT MY HOUSE AT SIX IN THE MORNING!" I'M DEFINETLY GONNA HAVE TO SAY THAT!" I said yelling.

"Oh calm down you know you love me." Vex said.

I rolled my eyes in a joking manner.

"Yeah yeah okay. Ready to go?" Vex said.

I shoved a piece of my toast down Vex's mouth.

"Yep I'm ready to go" I said confidently and started walking towards the car.

Me and Vex were always close like that. For two years. We have hugged and cuddled and texted all day. It's always been like that. Nothing different. I love Vex so much. That's normal.

Right?
