Chapter 3: Home

Mila gasps for air.

"Fine be mad at me Rain I don't scare but Vex is a giant sl-"

"Don't you dare" I said as I raise a fist.

"Okay fine get your fucking hand down." Said Mila.

I roll my eyes and put down my fist.

"I see you still cuss like your life depends on it" I say annoyed.

Mila looked so offended.

"Maybe my life does depend on it." She said in the most bratty tone.

"Oh no my Dad is gonna get mad if I don't cuss and take his money" I said mockingly to Mila.

I hear Vex smirk after hearing that.

"I see your still a bitch" said Mila.

"Can we not describe you by pretend it's me." I say.

"Ugh shut up! I'm hot and skinny and rich. Who wouldn't want to be me!?" Said Mila.

"Uh everyone. Except for all your minions."

"Oh shut up. Vex is your only friend. You will never be cool again."

"Yeah well you never were cool so I'm not as bad as you."

"Do you ever shut up!?"

"Ummm no do you?"

Mila stomped and just as she was about to walk away the loud speaker for school came on.

"Mila and Rain report to the principle's office." The loud speaker said.

We both looked at each other and looked back at the loud speaker. The loud speaker shut off and we both started walking to the principle's office together.

"Oh we are so screwed." I said. Me and Mila may hate each other but we both agreed. We were screwed.

We both stepped into the principle's office and sat down nervously.

"Princy A" I said pretending like I didn't punch a girl in the nose.

"It's Principal Aratamondelus." Said the Principal.

"And I'm supposed to remember that? Fat chance." I said. How was I supposed to remember that name?

"Fine if your gonna be disrespectful I will cut to the chase. Your both suspended for one week at home."

Both of our jaws dropped. I mean it was fair. We made people bleed. Vex did nothing wrong. So innocent.

"Damn alright. That's a while." I said.

"Yes. Pack up your things now. Both of you walk home so do that" Princy A said.

I walked out of the principle's office. One week at home suspencion. I definitely wasn't going home. I was going to Vex's house. My parents suck. I know Vex's parents love me though. That's where I'll be going.

I saw Vex in the hallway.

"See you at home Vex!" I yelled.

"Sorry what?" Vex said confused.

I giggled and ran away.

Today I took a bus. I really didn't want to walk home today. So instead I took the city bus. Honestly I hated it.

Two Minutes Later

"Mom I'm home!" I yelled to Vex's mom. I called her mom all the time. She took care of me better than my real mom so I considered her to be a Parental Figure. Vex's dad was also a Parental Figure to me. It wasn't like me and Vex were like siblings. We agreed to never think of each other as siblings.

"Rain why are you home so early?" Said Vex's Mom Rose.

"I got into a fight because someone accused Vex of sleeping with their boyfriend and punched Vex so I punched and upper cutted them." I said.

"Good job." said Rose

"Oh why thank you." I said.

Me and her began laughing. It took us a while to stop.

"Thank you for standing up to Vex. Besides Vex is bi and likes girls WAY more than boys. Vex hasn't liked a boy in a while and Vex is super against cheating so that girl got it all wrong." Said Rose while drinking coffee.

"Wait what!? Vex is bi!? I always thought she was aromantic because she never talked about her crushes! She's bi!?" I thought.

"I'm suspended for a week." I said.

"Alright what do you wanna do. I'm down to do anything." Said Rose.

I loved Rose. She was so nice and sweet to everyone. She never judged. But most importantly... she accepted me.

"Wanna watch TV and eat food until Vex comes home?" I said.

"Yep I'm ordering the food right now." Said Rose

"High five?" I said

"High five!" Said Rose.

We laughed and gave each other a high five.

"Chinese food?" Said Rose.

"Yep" I said.
