Chapter 2: Don't touch her...

Vex and me were riding to school bored. Her older brother was driving us to school. Her older brother Ted was cool so me and Vex always asked him for favors.

Me and Vex were in the back seat of the car Ted drove. I was on my phone bored. Vex was watching my phone. I put my phone away and leaned back in the seat tired from what happened at home.

Soon I feel a sudden change in weight. I felt something on my shoulder. I quickly looked at my shoulder. Vex had fallen asleep on my shoulder. Apparently not asleep cause as soon as I looked down she looked up at me.

"Comfy?" I said.

Vex nodded.

A few minutes went by and I was bored. I looked down and started playing with Vex's hair. Vex tensed up for a second then her entire body relaxed immediately. Vex looked very happy like she was about to fall asleep. Vex had never looked so comfortable. It made me warm inside. Whenever Vex was feeling good it never made me feel good before.

I have been feeling so many wierd feelings around Vex lately. It's been wierd and uncalled for. I get warm and fuzzy inside when she talks to me. When she picks me over other people I spark with joy. Even this morning when she woke me up I was so happy she chose me to annoy in the morning. Vex was always around me and with me. She basically never left my side.

The car stops. I realize me and Vex are at school. I stop playing with Vex's hair and unbuckled my seat belt. Vex got up; yawned and then got out of her seat.

"Bye Ted!" I said as I waved to Ted trying to let him know I was grateful for the ride.

"Bye tiny children!" Said Ted.

Vex turned around.

"Didn't I tell you to stop calling me that!" Said Vex.

"Yep" Said Ted with no care in the world.

Vex gave him the finger then continued walking with me.

"Did you really have to do that" I whispered to Vex.

"Yep" whispered Vex.

She sounded just like her brother. It was hilarious and I had to hold back from not laughing at the fact she just flipped him off then acted just like him.

As me and Vex walked down the hallway trying to find our lockers, because they were all the way in the back of the hallway, we felt eyes on us. Many pairs. Like we did something wrong.

"YOU FUCKING PRICK" yelled someone down the hall and ran up and punched Vex.

"WHAT THE FUCK MAN" yelled Vex.

"YOU SLEPT WITH BOYFRIEND!" Said the person.

"NO I DIDN'T! WHERE DID YOU HEAR THAT!" Said Vex.

"THERES A RUMOR GOING AROUND SCHOOL!" said the person.

"OKAY FIRST OF ALL YOU PUNCH ME BECAUSE OF A FACE RUMOR!? COME ON MAN! SECOND EVEN IF IT WAS TRUE WHY WOULD YOU PUNCH ME!"

My knuckles tighten. I don't why I was being so overprotective of Vex but I was. I slightly pushed Vex away and looked down.

The person who punched Vex tried to speak but before she could... I punched her in the nose.

"WHAT THE FUCK PRICK" Said the person.

"Don't touch my VEX" I said.

After I said that I uppercutted the girl who hurt Vex. She thinks she can hut my Vex? Hah. No.

"DUDE!" yelled Vex.

"You think I'll let someone touch you? No. Not my Vex." I said looking at Vex with blood running down my knuckles from the person's nose.

Suddenly Vex looked up at me then looked down and put her face into her hands.

"So who the FUCK are you and why do you think you can hurt MY Vex?" I said.

"I'm Mila Jones. Remember me?" She said still wincing from pain.

"MILA!" both me and Vex screamed at the same time.

No no no no. This couldn't be happening. Mila bullied us before. She got sick of us so she started bullying us. I won't let her. I'll punch her again and again if I have to. I won't let her hurt my Vex any longer. I'm won't let anybody hurt my Vex any longer...
