Louis looked at the fridge that held his insides in disgust, feeling more and more unsure of how he will put them back inside him. Just the thought of it made him shudder.

"Someone took your heart... Pfft!"  The other Louis cracked as Louis grunted.

"How unfortunate... They won't be living long enough to use it. Aside from that, what do I call you? Other me?" surely not that, but Louis couldn't think of anything better at that moment.

"I am you. Call me whatever you wish. Sooner or later, I'll just be your passing thoughts," The other Louis replied.

"I'll just call you L for now. Loser,"

"How kind of you," Louis could imagine the eye-roll L gave him in disgust, but he couldn't care less.

He cared more about getting his revenge on all those who did him dirty. He cared more about ending the lives of those who dared to steal his heart.

He followed the smell of his blood, the same smell coming from the fridge, and it led to an opening in the wall. Whoever stole it, was discrete and careful not to get caught by the traffickers. Which could only mean that they themselves weren't traffickers.

"They are in for a fucking surprise," Louis muttered to himself before he grabbed the containers and shoved them inside the bag he stole. The smell was starting to fade, and it was getting dark inside when he finally left that building.

Deciding that attacking at night would be better, he followed the smell all the way to an old seemingly abandoned building. But he knew better than to judge these buildings based on their exteriors.

He could smell chemicals and blood coming from the underground level, and there was a dim light coming from the stairs. Someone... Perhaps a small group of people were staying there. He could smell his own blood, mixed with another person's blood. Was this a separate trafficking group?

His eyes scanned the area, searching for all possible entries. A few monsters were walking here and there, none of them aware of the human's presence in the underground. They were wandering mindlessly, searching for their next meal. None of them paid Louis any attention, considering him to be one of them.

Louis ignored them as he started to make his way to the building, heading straight to the staircase and trying to be as quiet as possible as he sneaked in. A habit from when he would sneak inside the kitchen or storage to steal food for his brother.

On the lower floor, only 2 rooms were lit, and he could hear voices coming from the first room. A man? No... Two men were chatting with each other. The other room was silent except for the soft snores and beeping noise of some device.

Louis ignored the room with the two men inside and went to the other one, opening the door slowly and quietly to not attract the attention of the others. The strong smell of chemicals overwhelmed all his other senses, and he put a hand over his mouth and nose as he stepped inside the bright room.

A little girl was lying on a weird bed in the middle of the room, several devices surrounding her were making weird beeping noises, and dozens of hoses were attached to her somehow. She had something on her nose and mouth that Louis didn't know, but he could see her breaths when she breathe. It was steady.

A man was kneeling on the floor, half of his body on the weird bed as he held the girl's hand. They looked similar, and it made Louis wonder whether or not they were related. The snores were coming from the man. He was sleeping.

Louis removed his hand from his mouth as he took slow steps to where they were, silently examining the room. His smell was coming from the girl, and he narrowed his eyes once he reached her. His heart was nowhere to be seen.

He wanted to shake her awake and ask her if she took it, but he didn't do anything. He just stood there, staring at the two, trying to figure out whether they were traffickers or just people in need.

There was no way they were traffickers. Traffickers don't treat people, they kill them when they are sick. Louis looked at the girl again. The fact that he could smell his blood coming from her could only mean that she took it. Where was hers then?

"You seriously just going to give it up like that?" L scoffed.

"Well. I can live without it. She can't. And I'm not giving up, I'm just taking hers in return,"

"She wouldn't have gotten yours if hers was of any good,"

"We-"

Louis was interrupted by the man suddenly moving, and he froze in shock. Does he kill him? But he's not a trafficker?? Louis was panicking as the man opened his eyes. As soon as his eyes landed on Louis, they both froze.

Louis was certain he was going to get shot or beaten or something. He was a monster to them after all, but the man was still frozen after a few minutes, which turned Louis's anxiety into confusion.

"Are you not going to attack?"
"Are you not going to attack?"

They both said in unison before they looked at each other confused. The man stood up slowly and warily, but he didn't step away. Instead, he placed himself between Louis and the girl, gently making distance between them.

"Who are you?"
