"Here we are, I was brought here once I was old enough to work. There is another hidden base a few miles away from here as well." Louis pointed at the building that was once his... No, it was never a home. It was the hell he grew up in. Was Hugo inside now? Was his mother there? Why was he nervous?

"There aren't many people guarding the main entrance. Was it always like this?" John asked in a hushed tone as he stood close to Louis.

"No. I just made it easier for you," Louis mumbled coldly as his gaze hardened. Those who stayed behind were the weaker ones, they would be easy to kill.

John cleared his throat before he looked at the building again. He had met people who, once given the chance, didn't hesitate to murder in the name of revenge. He was glad that Louis's hatred was directed at the right people, but it still left an awful taste in his mouth that a child like him had to go through all that.

To want death, crave it even, and still be met with disappointments and rejections. How miserable was he, really?

"Ian, are you equipped?" he pushed the thoughts to the back of his head, not wanting to waste more time and possibly lose more innocent people.

"Yes, sir," Ian unzipped his jacket, showing the hidden guns beneath.

"Good. Let's get moving then. Louis, are you in or would you rather stay here?" His figure switched from what seemed to be fatherly to authorization as he stood tall and looked at Louis.

"I'll help from the outside. You go in, and if my brother is there, I'll go back to Ryan and Tom. Bring him to safety," he could feel the tension as the two older men exchanged looks before they nodded.

It was very hot and humid, and the guards were complaining about it while chugging down bottles of water. They were taking it easy, convinced that no one would attack them during daylight.

"There are more people inside, let me take care of these guards and save your ammo," Louis stepped ahead of John as he pointed his gun at the guard on the left. He seemed hesitant to let his gun down, but he lowered it nonetheless.

"Don't be reckless kid, they might use the hostages to make us surrender," John warned as he relaxed his body a little, the leaves crunching under his shoes as he stepped back.

Louis nodded his head in response before he walked toward the entrance. He could hear them all, 3 guards outside, 2 guards inside the first room and 1 at the staircase. There were 48 people in the underground level. 20 kids and 28 hostages, some of them seem to be badly injured.

He stood near the entrance behind the tree, watching as the 3 guards complained about the weather as if it was the biggest problem there was to worry about right now and not the dozens of corpses rotting underneath them. He felt his blood boil, and he took a deep breath in an attempt to calm himself even when he knew it would be futile. No matter how angry he was, his skin was ice cold. No matter how many times he inhales, it doesn't matter because he can live with and without it. A literal walking corpse.

The three guards turned their heads once they heard the sound of the leaves getting crushed.

"Kevin man, what took you so lo-" one of the guards tried to speak, but he quickly stopped when he realized that it wasn't Kevin standing in front of him.

"I guess I should send you to him since you are so eager to see him again," Louis spat as he looked at the man who was frozen in fear. The guy standing behind him quickly recovered and reached for his gun in an attempt to shoot Louis, but his arm was quickly dismembered from his body as soon as he touched the gun.

Louis's claw-like fingernails were covered in blood as he grabbed him from his neck and forced him to his knees. His menacing aura made the others cower in fear. They remembered him, and he remembered them too.

"Y-you! HOW? UGH!" The man's voice was high due to the fact that Louis was strangling him.

"You remember me. Oh, surely you do. You all do. You played with my friend's corpse as if it was a football... Ah..." Louis felt the chuckle rumble in his chest as the man started ugly crying and yelling incoherently. This was fun. Too fun in fact. He never thought he would enjoy having people's blood on his hands, not when he spent his entire life trying to get it off of him.

"P-p-please! I gi- cough- give uAH!" He screeched as Louis tore his other arm off, the enjoyment glittering in his black eyes as the light faded from the man's eyes.

He let go of his neck and watched as he crumbled under his feet, dead. Louis turned around slowly, the murderous glint and the grin he wore was enough to make the first guard shit his pants. His knees gave up and he fell to the ground once he made eye contact with Louis, who turned around and started walking to him.

"And you. You are the one who locked me down there after what happened to Rei. I remember you!" Louis smiled wickedly as the man tried to crawl away in fear, his legs were shaking and you could see the wet spot from where he wetted his pants. He looked so pathetic.

"N...No! I- I WAS ONLY FOLLOWING ORDERS!" He screamed as he tried to get up and run only to fall again, his legs unable to carry him from how scared he was. He tried crawling again, but Louis stepped on his back and forced him to the ground. The dirt and leaves covered his face and some of them got into his mouth.

"I was there for days you know. No water or food. With my friend's blood covering me. God how the tables have turned. You don't even deserve a last word," Louis felt the man try to wiggle under him, to escape free. It only made Louis even more eager to murder him.

Louis lifted his foot a little, and the man turned to look at him only to have his skull crushed to the ground by Louis's foot. He continued to stomp on him until his head became one with the ground, with blood and bones covering the leaves around him.

The last man, the guy who suggested they punish them in the first place, and the one Louis looked forward to torturing, went to hide, but with someone like Louis on his ass, he was doomed.
