Chapter 1: A Performance

You walked around in your hotel room preparing for the upcoming pokemon show with your best friend Serena. You guys decided to perform together and were going to meet in 5 minutes at the Pokemon Center, then take a taxi to the performance area. You packed your stuff in a duffel bag and set off for the Pokemon Center, as Eevee walked next to you.

"Y/n!" Serena smiled as she saw you, and you returned the smile.

"Hey Serena, ready to get going?"

"Yeah, lets go, we don't want to be late. Also, we might not want to attract fans so we might not want to take the taxi."

"But how are we going to get there then?"

"Ash is driving there, so there shouldn't be a problem."

"Okay then, lets get going!"

You slid into the back seat with Eevee by your side. After a 10 minute drive, you arrived and hurried backstage with Serena, as you both bolted into the changing room to get changed in your costumes. 

"Y/n, Serena, you both should be on stage in 5 minutes," the manager said.

You both replied with a nod, and sent your pokemon out. 

"Eevee, Togekiss, I'm counting on you," you said.

"Delphox and Sylveon, rock it out there!" said Serena.

"Now welcoming up the Kalos Queen Y/n! And her friend Serena!!" the announcer said.

You, Serena, and your pokemon were lifted up to the stage.

"Eevee, let's go Umbreon and use dark pulse! Togekiss use razor wind!" you said as fireworks exploded around you.

"Delphox, flamethrower! Sylveon fairy wind!" Serena added.

Sorry, I'm not so good at doing the moves.

You and Serena danced across the floor gracefully, as you continued to tell your pokemon moves. And almost as fast as it started, it was over. As you and Serena bowed before the wild audience, you saw someone who shocked you. Leon, champion of Galar had come all the way to Kalos to watch your performance. You knew you had fans from all over the regions, but Champion of Galar?!

"Everyone, I have an announcement. I will join the World Coronation Series and battle hard, but don't worry, I will still have shows and continue singing!" you announced. Your fans cheered you on, as relief washed over you, happy that your new goal of dominating the World Coronation Series wouldn't be met with backlash.

Backstage, after performing, you and Serena sat and chatted. She decided to go with you to Galar and would talk to Ash about it. You then told her about how you saw Leon, and she was shocked, as he was also the monarch of the World Coronation Series, as well as being champion of Galar. When you guys decided it was time to see Ash and get back to the hotel, you were surrounded by fans. As you greeted them and signed multiple autographs, you bumped into someone and immediately apologized. Until you realized who you bumped into.

"LEON?! I'm so sorry," you stuttered.

"No, its my bad," he replied.

"Sorry anyway, but I got to go," you said and led your fans outside, until they finally scattered, satisfied.

You found Serena and Ash, and crawled into the backseat, in awkward silence until Serena spoke up. 

"Y/n, Ash and I will be taking a flight to Galar tomorrow morning, and I also booked a ticket for you in the same flight, will that be ok?"

"Of course, there is no problem, thanks so much!"

"Also Y/n, I saw that..."

You felt your cheeks warming up as you asked "What?"

"You and Leon... so is something going on?"

"What? No, nothing, it was nothing."

"If you insist," she replied with.

"Come on Y/n, nothing to be ashamed of," Ash said.

Your blush was getting more obvious as you said "It's nothing, I think we should put this conversation on pause for now," you said as Ash pulled up to your place.

"We will meet up tomorrow at 10:30 am here in the driveway," said Serena, handing you your ticket, since your friends insisted that you try flying a full flight instead of taking the private jet for once, you agreed.

"Thanks so much! See you then!" you said as you waved and then ran up to your room, which was the spacious master's room.

Walking into your room you thought of what happened and felt butterflies in your stomach as you cooked dinner for yourself. You could barely sleep that night as the whole scene replayed in your head. Were you developing a crush?
