Chapter 8: World Coronations Series; Day 1

I will be updating at random times, but probably at least once a week on a random day depending on my changing schedule. 

Btw, Bede is from the games so I don't know much about him, but I thought he was the only kid that I could pose as the "bad guy".

Anyways...

Continuing from last chapter...

You stepped proudly on the battlefield, facing Bede who was smirking. A green rotom floated nearby, telling us to bring out our pokemon. He called on his galarian Ponyta. In an attempt to end the battle early so that Ash could also battle, you decided to choose one of your strongest partners, Greninja, ignoring the fact that it took damage from Leon's Charizard not much long ago. 

"I'm surprised you have your type advantages." Bede taunted with a smirk.

"I'm trying to put you in your place so that I can get this over with." you said after rolling your eyes.

"Ponyta, Flamethrower!"

"Counter with water pulse," you said calmly. "Now, water shuriken."

With the second move, Ponyta took a lot of damage. "End this with hydro pump."

 After the final move, Ponyta was taken out. The fact that Greninja had lost some energy and took a little bit of damage from the battle with the champion luckily didn't cost you the match.

Rotom announced that you were now ranked # 9,737. Smiling at ash, you said "I did my job, it's time to do yours."

You sat next to your best friend as your friends congratulated you on your victory. After watching Ash's Pikachu roast Bede's Hattena, you congratulated him for wiping that smug smile off his face. After that, you went against Hop's wooloo, and won, as well as Marnie's Impidimp, you were put to the ranking of # 8103. You took your Greninja to the pokemon center, thanking it for all it's work, as it was the pokemon you used to wipe your opponent's pokemon. After eating at the pokemon center, you waved goodbye to your rivals, Hop, who was following Leon, Leon, to do his champion duties, and Marnie who wanted to return to see her brother, the dark type gym leader Piers. 

Settling in your hotel room you shared with Serena, with Ash and Anthony in the next door room, (this hotel only had two beds each room and you didn't want to stick around to your brother). After spending the night and checking out, you and your friends decided to set out for another day of competing.
