Continuing from the last chapter...
"Excuse me for a second, I'll go and answer this," you said, as your friends nodded and you took the phone with you to a quiet corner before answering.
"Hi, this is Y/n," you said, as you answered.
"Hi Y/n, I have something to tell you-" Nurse Joy answered back.
"Yes?" you asked, curious to know about Leon's condition, as it had been more than a week since he fell into a coma.
"I am happy to inform you that Leon has awakened from his coma, but has forgotten everything. Since I happen to know that you have legendary pokemon, I was hoping that they could recover his memory, since all he remembers is having Charizard, which I believe is in your care currently after it was released from urgent care, and besides Charizard, Leon only remembers you and Hop, and has been asking for you three ever since he woke up," Nurse Joy said.
You felt your mind spinning. You were glad that Leon had finally woken up. But at the price of loosing a lot of his memory. You weren't even sure if your legendaries could cure such a problem.
"Um yes, I'll be at the hospital as fast as I can, I'll bring my legendaries in and see if we can help. I do currenly have all of Leon's pokemon under my care, and I'll bring them too," you said, snapping back from your thoughts to relality.
"Alright, sounds good. See you soon Y/n," Nurse Joy responded with as she hung up.
You stood frozen in place as you felt your head continue to spin.
"Y/n?" Serena asked as you looked in your direction. "You alright?" she asked worridly, as you snapped back from your thoughts again, to see Serena, Ash, Hop, and Anthony walking towards you.
"Huh? Oh yeah, sorry, I guess I have been zoning out a lot recently. I have good and bad news, which one do you wanna hear first?" you asked.
"Lets do good news first," Hop said, and you could tell that he hoped that his brother was finally awake, since he had also been worried sick for his brother.
"Well Leon is finally awake, but he lost all his memory, except he remembers is Charizard, Hop, and Me," you said.
"Glad he didnt forget me at least," Hop said.
"Same, honestly," you said. "Nurse Joy requested that we bring Leon's pokemon and my legendaries, both of which are on me right now. How does visiting Leon now sound?"
"I've been waiting for this, lets go!" Hop said, running excitedly towards the exit.
"I have a better idea," Ash said, as he released his Charizard and Dragonite. "Charizard will carry me and Serena, Dragonite can carry Anthony and Hop, and Y/n, I'm sure you have a ride."
"Good thinking, Ash," you said, as you released Dragonite, and climbed on, as you and Dragonite led the way to the hospital. As you and your group neared the enterance, you all hopped off of the flying pokemon and returned them to their pokeballs, and ran into the building, where Indeedee led you to Leon's room.
You stepped inside to see Leon sitting on the hospital bed, staring out the window. As you and Hop stepped into the room in front of Ash, Serena, and Anthony, he turned to you and Hop, as recongition lit in his eyes.
"LEON!!!" you yelled, as you ran up to him and jumped into his arms.
"Hi Y/n," he said, as he looked in your eyes. He later turned and looked at Hop in his eyes. "Hey Hop."
"LEE!!! YOU REMEMBERED ME!!!!" Hop said, as he jumped into Leon's arms, and Leon hugged Hop and reassured him.
"Hey Ash, Serena, and Anthony," he said, as he turned to them.
"Wait, you remember us?" Ash asked, confusion surrounding everyone except Leon.
"When I woke up, I didn't remember you guys, but when I looked into Y/n and Hop's eyes, I just felt my memories flooding back. I remember everything now." He said, "I dont know how it happened, but it just did."
"I guess I didn't need pokemon to recover your memory," you said with a chuckle. You grabbed a belt with pokeballs attached to it and handed it to Leon. "Thats your team, I took care of them while you were in a coma," you said, handing the belt to Leon as he fastened it to his waist.
"We also took care of Galar's business while you were unwell," Anthony cut in.
"You don't mind being both Galar's champion and chairman right?" Ash asked.
"Yeah, sure that would work, since I've dropped my responsiblity of champion of all the regions, I'll have time to deal with chairman work." He asked, "But what about all the damage that Eternatus caused?"
"Our legendaries took care of that," you added. "Our commitee has everything under control."
"Nurse Joy said you had a miraculous recovery, you seem to be all fine," Serena said. "You are discharged today then. I think you should stay with us for the night, and we'll deal with the press and all the other government-related problems in the morning, and we'll catch you up with all the events that occured while you we unwell."
"Sounds great," Leon said.
"Also, I think its best to keep the news silent for tonight, and tell everyone about your recovery in the morning. We need to all be under big time disguise and we won't tell anyone until tomorrow morning. We'll fly back to our hotel and stay there for the night," you said.
"Alright, and tomorrow, I'll get you all rooms in the Champion Tower, where I live," Leon said, "It'll be paparazzi safe, and gives you more privacy, much like your place in Kalos," he said, looking at you.
"Alright, sounds like a plan," Ash said. "But for now, let's focus on getting back to the hotel unseen."
After getting back to the hotel and explaining everything to Leon, he called his assistant and arranged for you and your group to have a place in the champion tower, your room right next to his with a door in the wall that seperates the two rooms, Anthony's and Hop's, Serena's, and Ash's rooms across from you and Leon's rooms.
And with all the work and business done, you and your friends packed up everything, and stayed the last night in the hotel rooms you and your friends have stayed in ever since you came to Galar.
