Chapter 7: Rematch

Continuing from the last chapter...

You woke up to a knock on the door, and when you opened it, you were shocked to see the Leon had come to get you so early. He seemed psyched for a battle, a rematch against your Greninja with Mega Charizard X. You warned him it wasn't going to be easy, as you had a trick up your sleeve.

"Wow!" you said.

"Well, thanks. Greninja and I can teach you if you'd like." Ash said.

"Thanks so much, I would love it so much!" you replied estatically. 

You were a quick learner due to your  bond with Greninja, quickly mastering the bond phenomenon, in which you and Greninja became one.

Evee cooed excitedly as you and Leon, your friends and brother walked to the forest again. You took out Greninja's pokeball and smirked as Leon took out his Charizard's pokeball. 

"A REMATCH BETWEEN THE TRAIN Y/N AND THE MONARCH LEON BEGINS. EACH TRAINER HAS THE USE OF ONE POKEMON AND ONE BATTLE GIMMICK. THE TRAINER THAT LEAVES IT'S OPPONENT'S POKEMON UNABLE TO BATTLE WINS! ALRIGHT! BATTLE BEGIN!" Ash yelled.

Right from the beginning, he told it to mega evolve. You smiled, then told him cautiously to control the power, as using it for the first time could be overwhelming. Then, you shocked him. "All right Greninja, we're strong together! Let's go, full power!!!" You could also see Ash smiling, knowing that you had mastered it. 

You could see the shock on his face as you merged with Greninja, a ninja shuriken on it's back. "Alright Greninja, water shuriken!"

"Charizard dragon claw!"

"I see you have been practicing, but I have been too!" you said.

"Now, double team and follow it up with aerial ace!"

"Wipe them down! Dragon tail!" 

"Let's go Greninja, show them what's good!" you yelled as arial ace hit. "Water Shuriken!"

"Charizard quick, dragon claw!" But it was too slow for greninja. Greninja landed in front of you ready for the next move. "Charizard, Flamethrower!"

"Greninja, use cut! Follow it through with double team, and strike!" Greninja nodded its head and obeyed, surviving the flamethrower, and like a thousand greninjas appeared around Charizard, each diving in the strike with cut. After the attack, Charizard fell, and returned to its normal form.

"LEON'S CHARIZARD IS UNABLE TO BATTLE, WHICH MEANS THAT Y/N IS THE WINNER!" Ash yelled.

"That was impressive, I'm gonna have to work harder if I don't want to loose my monarch title."

"I did warn you, anyway, I'm gonna go back to town to get food. Anyone coming?"

"Let's all get food," said Ash, his stomach growling.

"Alright," you said, leading the way back, making sure Leon wasn't.

Serena walked ahead of everyone to talk to you, while the boys were having their own conversation. "Soooooo... girl, you gotta tell me what's going on between you two."

"It's really nothing. We are just good friends."

"You know it, I know it, he also probably knows it."

"What? That I may have a crush on him?"

"Duh, what else would it be?"

"I just, don't honestly think he feels the same way back. That's why."

"Oh, well, I can't make you do it, I can only push you to."

During breakfast together, you chatted with Leon, who also invited Sonia, Hop, and Raihan over to join you, Serena, Anthony, and Ash. After splitting the bill, you and your friends were going to stroll in the park until your rotomphone rang. You had to go attend a meeting, so you went off to the location, promising your friends to meet them after. It would be one of the usual meetings, about business. Your heart skipped a beat, as you were in the meeting, thinking about everything that had happened so far. (You were definitely listening) The World Coronation Series would officially start tomorrow. You were excited.

After the meeting, you met with your friends again and chatted away the night. As you fell asleep, you remembered all the people there for you, and the World Coronation Series, which Ash would be attending as well.

Sorry gonna interrupt here, but theres a new character, Bede, which I will be making him a little mean in the World Coronation Series.

Waking up in the morning, after watching the announcement live on TV, (and wondering how Leon got there in a very short time to attend the opening ceremony on TV), you got your first challenge, both you and Ash were challenged by Bede, the son of Chairman Rose of Galar.

Oh yeah, Chairman Rose is Bede's father and a little crazy too.
